What's the best scene eye make-up combo to use?

Sometimes I use an eye shadow brush and pencil liner but I outline the inner rim and outer rim of my eyes. I'm not sure how to do the smoky eye thing either. Does anyone have any cool scene make-up ideas?What's the best scene eye make-up combo to use?
