What color eye make-up should i wear with a formal orange dress?

I am going to prom with my boyfriend. I am wearing a formal dress that is a pale orange color. It is a simple but beautiful dress. I just dont know how I would like to do my make-up.What color eye make-up should i wear with a formal orange dress?
You could get one of those eyeshadow kits they have that carry three or more colors in the same palette.


Try to find a set in peach tones.


I'd do a dark shadow (probably dark grey or brown) directly above your lashes, then a dark shade of peach or tan in the crease of the eye and fade it out to a light peach all the way to your eyebrows.


Should make for beautiful, radiant eyes.


Use two or even three layers of mascara to get great, long-looking lashes (most maybelline mascaras will work wonders here) and tip it off with a lipstick in the same color palette as your eye shadow. No pink or real red - rather an umber or brick red.


What I like to do is to use lip liner instead of lipstick too..


just fill in your whole lips with it and follow with some lipgloss. Holds longer and looks great.

NYX has a eyeshadow trio #TS11 Orange Golden Orange and peach..Don't worry they aren't real orange-y lol, they also have lip gloss in Oro, tearose or candy shop that i think are pretty. If you are doing the traditional smokey eye, then just wear a clear or light color gloss.

Hum Well Im going to post pictures of girls with Orange dressess maybe you can get an idea on what a make up they have. They all seem very natural.


But If I was you I would just were smoky eyes and a peach lipstick with lipgloss.

so i would use a golden brown maybe with a hint of creme.


have the darkest color the one closet from your eye and go lighter as you hit the eyebrow area..

wow, i'm thinking orange is not a good color for a formal dress. but than i am just a guy. but i guess you would want to go with a something neutral, like a grey or something that matches your eyes.

Wear eyeshadow and eyeliner that matches your hair colour with mascara. Maybe wear a lighter shade at the beginning of your eyelid and a really light shade lightly under your eyebrow too
Peach colours, and keep all your other make up natural. Or smokey eyes :)
