I have used Lancome, %26amp; I like it, but it's pricey. Also, in the past I've used baby oil, but it's too greasy. What is a good eye make-up remover that does not have mineral oil in it?
A friend of mine uses Philosophy Purity Made Simple; it is a facial cleanser, that is very effective at removing eye make-up, with out irritation and devoid of mineral oil. • How to do something different with my eye make up?

Any fantastic tips? I've been doing my eye make up the same way and I'm so bored with it. My eyes are my favorite feature so I like to make them stand out. I'm really tan with bluish green eyes if that helps at all. Thanks :]How to do something different with my eye make up?
you could apply yur regular eyeshadow first

(try a type of dark green)

then use one of those liquid eyeliners. i use

the black one from Kat Von D.s collection

use it only on the top and do alittle swoop past your

eye on the sides. also try using a white shadow and

do a highlight right under your eyebrows

=)How to do something different with my eye make up?
go with a bright green in the corners, be the nose, and have it turn into a darker color like blue on the edges. or go half blue smudged into purple byt the nose. or smoky grey eye

With dark brown eyes and black eye brows what eye make up is suitable?

i meant which colour ,and you think a stocky black eye brow is better or a thiny one? With dark brown eyes and black eye brows what eye make up is suitable?
Gold and browns with a cream colour under the brows and in the inner corner of lower lids.

For a more dramatic look a bright green looks nice and brings out the sparkle .With dark brown eyes and black eye brows what eye make up is suitable?
    Mauve eyeshadow or lavendar.

I can't wear eye make-up anymore. How can I still look glamorous and sophisticated on a night out?

I had to stop wearing eye make-up due to medical condition. I can wear other make-up. Any style and make-up tips would be much appreciated. I have dark hair and eyes, age 30.I can't wear eye make-up anymore. How can I still look glamorous and sophisticated on a night out?
you don't need much eye make-up, keep it natural! focus more on your lips and cheeks - with a light pink and natural look. good luck, hope your eyes will get better!

use a blush with shimmer to give your face glow, but careful not to use too much. you could take a light beige shimmered eyeshadow and apply at the corners of your eyes with your pinky, but not on your eye, and blend in just to give your eyes a more lifted and awake look without wearing any makeup on your eyes at all. you could use a colored lipstick or colored gloss, but if you want a more natural look, clear gloss is fine too. also, i'm not sure what your hair style is like right now, but front wispy bangs (the way to layer bangs so that they don't look tick and clumpy, a hair stylist should know about this). having the bangs lay over your forehead and slightly over your eyebrows but not too much into your eyes can distract from any bareness in your eyes. i have front bangs like this and it definitely works... also a little tease at the top for more volume on your hair. these are just ideas though... good luck to you!
play up your lips with strong lip colors like bright pink or red or orange. it wont look like too much because you don't have too much going on. wear a blush, create strong structure lines. create a nice eye brow line

How to do eye make up on my eyes?!?

Hi well i am 15 and i just wanted to experiment too see if i look good in make up lol but the problem is that i am Asian and my eyes don't have the crease on them like other people do lol My eyes aren't small but they are big. I was wondering how you would put on eye make up if you don't have the creases on your eyes?

If you have pictures that would be AWSOME!How to do eye make up on my eyes?!?
Asian eyes have a different lid structure from most other eye types, and require a different technique to make them look their best. Since there is very little lid area, use a deeper shade of shadow for the entire main lid, and draw your liner as close to the lash line as possible. Instead of using a very light shade of shadow on the brow line, choose a more natural shade of coral. Apply it lightly and blend it well. This way you should be able to make the illusion of having a crease. Finish with mascara.

See this picture in the after photo she now has the folded eyelids but her eye makeup is very very light and natural looking

I am asian as well. Korean to be exact...

Ok I just deleted what I wrote becasue the youtube purse buzz video is SOOOO much better then anything I could suggest!

I am going to take lessons from that girl!
i look for models in magazine with similar eye shape, face shape, etc and copy what they've done. less is more when it comes to make up and how i applied it at 15 is different than how i wear it today. go to the mall and look for someone in the make-up dept with similar shaped eyes, or someone who wears eye make-up like you want to and ask her to show you how she does applies it.
After applying ur foundation, apply some concealer on ur eye lids, which enables eyeshadow to last longer.

    Hope i helped!
I found a ton of video tutorials and things, you can look for those--super helpful and stuff since it shows them putting it on. ^^ (I listed them at the bottom of this post) Maybe try a smokey eye look? That usually looks nice.

I don't think it matters if you have a crease, you just feel where your eyeball's at and apply it like you would anyone else, that should work.

Here are some just to name a few:

I just started playing around with makeup also, I only got to eyelash curler, mascara, and lipgloss though. :P
Go to www.marykay.com/ncastillo23 and you click on bussiness tool, scroll to create a look, pick the application look for eyes which is asian and it would show you how to do it.

How can I have an easier time taking off eye make-up?

I don't always wear mascara or eye-liner, but when I do, I have one hell of a time getting it off. It normally takes three face washes, about a million Q-tips, lots of lotion, and about six wet paper towels.

Anybody have an easier way?How can I have an easier time taking off eye make-up?
Woah girl you haven't discovered makeup remover towelettes!!!

I use ponds general clean towelettes and they get rid of all your make up in like 10 seconds!!! The have textured sheets so that you don't have to scrub your face with something rough. Try them they are in the make up section ... there's all kinds but I recommend ';PONDS'; :) luck!!!

They're only about $1.30How can I have an easier time taking off eye make-up?
When I was younger I used to go with just some baby oil.

Now I go with Neutrogena oil-free eye make up remover. No scrubbing necessary, and often just one cotton ball will do. Just rinse it out later with warm water. It's cheap too.

Sunflower oil helps too, I heard.
    eye makeup remover

    lancome, clinique, estee lauder

work great other cheaper brands like

mabelliene make it also you can get it

  • How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge underneath my eyes?

It is always beneath my eyelids and I have to wipe it off every so often and it drives me nuts. How do I fix It!!!!???How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge underneath my eyes?
Be careful not to apply too soon after using eye moisturiser as this can make it spread easier.

Also, maybe try a different brand of eye makeup? I recently swapped to dior, a little more $ but definately lasts alot longer than any other brand I have used. You can pick it up for a bit of a discount at strawberrynet.com

Sometimes an undereye concealer can help - clinique make one which is also on the strawberrynet website.

Another thing that can help, lightly spraying hairspray over your face will set your makeup nicely. Strange, but it does work! How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge underneath my eyes?
if your talking about eyeshadow or eyeliner, well my lower liner smudges too, but Ijust wipe away with my finger. if your talking about concealer or foundation being cakey %26amp; smudging around your eyes, put a tiny smount of lotion on clean skin before applying makup, %26amp; then apply, but don't pile it on. wait for the lotion to dry before appyling too, but don't wait too long. I have a feeling you didnt mean concealer or eyeshadow/eyeliner, but I hope I was somewhat of a help.
i used to have this probblem.

it might be a bit weird but its worked for me.try finding an eyeshadow close to your skin colour and put it right under your eyeliner or whatever. dont cake it on, but make sure theres enough to stop the liner from spreading down your eyelid. hope it helped!
I'm not positive how to help you because everyone is different.

But if you put on too much this could happen. Also sweating makes this worse. Wear sunglasses or a cute hat when you are out side to help your face not to sweat so much.

    Hope that helped!
mabey its the make-ups fault or the way your doing it is wrong.

    try the make-up dior.

it doesnt smudge so its ok. and you cant put to much make-up or else itll smudge. put your make up and smooth it our with ur finger lightly
    Try a primer like...

Urban Decay Primer Potion - $16 for .34 oz

Too Faced Shadow Insurance - $17 for .35 oz

Mary Kay Signature Eye Primer - $12 for .3 oz

are you talking about your eyeliner? or everything else? Because if it was just the eyeliner then I would suggest buying an eyeliner that does not smudge like Revlon colorstay 16 hour e/l or something like that.
    use a concealer under

put some translucent powder over it or

use a make up/eye liner sealer like benefit shelaq

How long after I had a swollen eye lid before I can put in my contacts and eye make up?

I had a swollen eye lid on Tuesday morning, probably an infection or stye. But it went down as the day went on and by Thursday it was completely gone I think. Well it's Friday now and it's completely gone and I still haven't worn my contacts or put on any make up. So when is it safe to do so? I'm going some where special tonight and I really want to wear them. Is it okay? How long after I had a swollen eye lid before I can put in my contacts and eye make up?
well if it was an infection, its better to leave it be for a bit longer.

you can try putting on your contact, and if it seems to bother you in anyway or irriate your eye then take them out.

you wont know if its ok to wear them untill you try.

if you want to wear make up, try doing something really light and try avoiding too much make up that can possibly go into the eye and make the eye more irritated. How long after I had a swollen eye lid before I can put in my contacts and eye make up?
As long as your eyes aren't pink (pink eye, needs antibiotic) and the swelling is completely down, I would think its ok.

I would put a new pair of contacts in and though them away after tonight. Just in-case you still have a slight infection.

Bring your glasses also, just in-case your eyes start to bather you and have fun at your special event!
I would put it in for a few mins to see how your eye will feel. You may have scratched your eye when you put the contact in the other day. If it doesn't feel comfortable, don't wear it or your eye could get a lot worse. Take care.

Has anyone tried eye make up specially designed for contact lenses wearers?

Is it less irritating than normal make up? Can you recommend some brands? Thank you.Has anyone tried eye make up specially designed for contact lenses wearers?
Wet 'n Wild has good eye makeup for people with contacts. The Website has a Store Locator. I think you put the Makeup on First. http://wnwbeauty.com/cosmetics/eyes/Has anyone tried eye make up specially designed for contact lenses wearers?
Hmm, Why don't you try Waterproof makeup!!, That way if you try putting eye drops every time your contacts get try, It wont damage or ruins your makeup!!

How long do you have to wait after you had pink eye to wear eye make-up again?

I don't want to catch pink eye again from old make up. Please help me. Thank you.How long do you have to wait after you had pink eye to wear eye make-up again?
Any make-up you used before or while you had pink eye is potentially contaminated and should be thrown out. You'll want to at least wait until you have no more symptoms and are done with any medications you may be on. The only way to know for sure is to ask your doctor; he or she is the only one who knows your specific case.

What kind of eye make-up do you just adore?

I used to love Dinger's Lash creme but now it is giving me a rash since they send the factory over sea's. Have you ever used anything Nasty? What kind of eye make-up do you just adore?
I like the look of last night's mascara on my dates. I really like it in the morning, just before I stop at a light, hand them a buck, and ask them to pick up the paper at the newstand across the street. This way, I can make sure they didn't write down my license plate before I drive away with their purse. What kind of eye make-up do you just adore?
I really like NYX eye shadows. The colors are very vibrant and comparable to MAC eye shadows. The texture is great as well and color payoff is wonderful. One thing I used that I really hated was this brand called Ever Bilena. It's a Filipino brand that I got from the Philippines when i visited there. It was really cheap and it was this palette with 9 different colors and the pink looked more like a white when applied to the skin and you could just easily rub it off with your fingers... :( and it made my eyelids really itchy! Why the heck did I ever buy that?
My favorite eye liner is anything from Almay, it goes on so smooth and it comes with a little built in sharpener that you just pop out.

Can i wear eye make up to a contact fitting? What do u do in a contact fitting?

Well, i have my contact fitting during school so i have to go to the eye doctor than come back to school. what do u do at a contact fitting? Can i wear eye make up to a contact fitting? What do u do in a contact fitting?
Personally, as someone who does fittings, we do prefer if people avoid the make up when coming in, it increases the difficulty for the patient more than anything since you will have to try on several pair to find the right sizes and brands. But most offices do not specifically require it. Hope that helps. Can i wear eye make up to a contact fitting? What do u do in a contact fitting?
i wouldn't suggest it your eyes tend to water a lot when you poke them. at a fitting they normally bring you to a side room and you try to put the contact in your eye. don't get discourage i couldn't get it in the first time. suggest bringing eye drops because your eyes will be a bit red and dry afterwords.
You just have to try on one or two pairs of contacts to see what size (diameter) contact fits your eye. If you must wear eye makeup, I would wear waterproof mascara and liner because your eyes may water and cause non-waterproof makeup to smear.

good luckWhat is the best eye make-up plan for blue eyes?
Hey there! I also have blue green eyes and had this dilemma but I found out the best color for me is a irredescent goldish green color! It brought out the green in my eyes and opened them up and added some shimmer. I also love violet shimmery eyeliner and a mascara that lifts and curls. One of my favorite makeup websites is www.meetmark.com. It is a line of avon makeup for young women and they have a great eyeshadow called winkstick. My favorite shade is envy. I also love the comb out mascara in midnight. I tend to stay away from colors that are too dark because I look like I've been punched and they just end up looking dirty. I also do not like black eyeliner because I think it's way too harsh. I hope you find a look that works for you and hope this was helpful! Good luck and take care!

How do I keep my eye make-up to stay on all day?

okay, well at school my makeup looks really good for like an 20 minutes after i do it. Then when I get to second period it's all smeared and I have almond shape eyes. HELP ME.How do I keep my eye make-up to stay on all day?
I know how you feel I have almond shaped eyes too, so every other class hour I try to make a stop to the bathroom or sometimes I will just fix it in class. You could also try finding a type of stronger eye liner that works better for you.How do I keep my eye make-up to stay on all day?
liquid eyeliner will last ALL day with out melting where as the regular pencil kind always seems to smudge and run a bit. i wear liquid eyeliner everyday and it doesnt smudge off even if you rub your eye it will come off in almost crumbs. i've also found that even if you cry it wont smudge but it will come off
    *Urban Decay Primer Potion.*

--or one those very non-oily foundations would probs work, too.
don't cry or fuss over it. don't put too much on
    try not to rubb it

or keep touching it that will help u must keep on touching it and stop cuz thatz wut ruins it :)
Try using a base under your eyeshadows so that they have something to stick to. You can get these at MAC, Bare Escentuals, and drugstores maybe if you don't want to spend a lot of $. What could also help is using waterproof mascara and eyeliners.
I've had that same problem for a long time until I found eyeshadow primer by Urban Decay. It makes your eye makeup stay on and stay vibrant. Check it out:

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
You need an eye primer. I like Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I did a tutorial about primers here: http://www.prettybycritty.com/blog/critt鈥?/a> They will keep your makeup in place all day long - yay!
Set it with a powder when you put it on.

    Hands OFF.

Make sure you're not using cream eye shadows, foundations, etc. if it's hot.

    Don't wear too much.
You need to buy waterproof make up. All stores have them. A very good lipstick is Color Stay, by Loreal (i think) and believe me, you can kiss, lick, smear, or rub your lips anywhere and it will NOT come off. The only thing that works for it to come off is Vaseline and tissue.
what i do is dust translucent powder on my eyes and eyelids. it really holds everything in place.
u are using cheap azz makeup. use MAC eyeshadow. it will last the whole day, girl.
Keep your hands off the makeup, touching it makes it smear and come off.
Apply foundation to your eyelids before you apply your eyeshadow. That should make the eyeshadow stick longer.
People always complain that they cannot get their make-up to last all day but There are simple rules behind making it last. Some people say one thing and som people say another thing but Iv'e combined the best tips from many sources to creating the longest lasting look..hope you enjoy!

    Things You鈥檒l Need:

    Liquid Foundation

    Loose translucent powder

    Cream concealer

    Liquid concealer

    Liquid eyeliner

    Cream eye-shadow

    Powder Eye-shadow

    Mascara

    blusher and brush

    Mirror

    Step 1:

Always remember to moisturise your face before starting. Leave for ten minutes to soak into the skin. This will help hold the makeup in place when finished.

    Step 2:

Apply an even amount of liquid foundation on your face with your fingers, ensuring you blend well around the hair line. Also ensure that you smooth the make-up down onto the neck for a more even look.

    Step 3:

Evenly apply the loose translucent powder with a pad (usually provided). This will help soak in any moisture that may cause the make-up to rub off.

    Step 4:

Use the cream concealer to cover up the blemishes on your face like spots, rashes, scars etc. smooth on with your fingers. For dark under-eye circles and bags use a liquid concealer. apply it only to the inside area near the nose and spread out towards the edge of the eye. this will ensure you aren't left with white rings around your eyes. dab on more translucent powder over the top of the concealer this will help this sit for longer also.

    Step 5:

for eye make up to last you will have to wear a cream eye-shadow this is a plain white one you can always apply powdered shadow on top but ensure the cream is still wet as this will help the powered eye-shadow last longer. The eye liner will have to be liquid for it to be longer lasting, as long as you leave it to dry properly it can last from morning to night without the need of touch up. although sometimes the bottom eye-lids may need a top-up occasionally as they are more moist than the top eye-lids.

    tips%26amp; Warnings

Actually.. probably any kind of lotion will work, not just face moisturizer
use PRIMER before putting on eyeshadow and also use mac eyeshadows they work the best
Use an Eye-Shadow Primer. The Eye-Shadow primer is supposed to help your eye shadows stay on longer. A good eye primer that I use is the Bare Escentuals bare vitamins Prime Time eyelid primer. It really does make my eye shadows last for a really long time. I hoped this helped, Good Luck *_*
clean your face really good then put moisturizer or whatever it is that you do then... put a little bit of your face powder on your eyelids and on your lower lid then apply makeup.

What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?

i've been wearing the same kind of make up for awhile and i just want to try something new. what are some looks i can try? i want to make my eyes seem lighter and bring out the gold in them. also, i like to make my eyes look bigger and less round.

if you know any other looks that might not be specifically for brown eyes or that you think would look good, that would also be helpful. What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?
    I am a makeup artist.

This question has been asked numerous times here, I feel like i'm repeating myself. Please check the answers before posting questions.

To make eyes appear bigger, use LIGHTER shades on your lids, such as gold, light pinks or bright purples. DONT line your entire eye or it will close it up! Try using a white or light beige shadow on the inner corners of your eyes and on your brow bones to open them up. To bring out the gold, use it's complimentary color, PURPLE.

I am re-posting an answer to a similar question:

';Because your eyes are brown to begin with, NEVER use a brown liner!!! Using colors in the same hue range as your eye color will make you look ';washed out';.

If you have dark eyes, I would suggest using a light purple or blue on the lid, and a darker purple or blue in the crease, with a dark purple liner on the inner corner to about 3/4 out. Use black liner on the very outter edge of the eye. A very dark plum or Black mascara would finish the look. If you want it more natural, skip the shadow.

If you have light brown eyes, all you need is a very dark plum eyeliner applied from the inner edge to outter edge on the top lid (along lash line), smudged up and outward. You could use Mac's Fluidline in Macroviolet (it's very easy to blend, and once it dries it doesn't budge). Then re-line the upper lash line with a thin black liner, and finish w/ black mascara. You could also use a dark purple shadow, instead of the purple liner, such as Mac's Nocturnelle or Graphology shadows.

A light yellow-gold shimmery shadow would also work with dark brown eyes. Mainly, your colors are Purple, Plum, Light-to-Medium Blues, Mauves, and Pink/Yellow-Based Golds. Dark eyes need lighter colors, light eyes need darker colors to make them pop.';What are some good eye make up tips for brown eyes?
I read the makeup artist's answer and she is right. Never use brown eyeliner, use black. She is very right on her answer but I also have brown eyes and I sometimes go dark. Dark gray on the lid lighter gray under the brow and then black on the cornes and top the black with a dark blue then use black liner on top,go thin with the liner and don't use liquid, and bottom lashes not on the inside and use the blue to trace the black liner on the bottom, keep the blue though close to the bottom lash line. I think it looks pretty to go deep sometimes with brown eyes but not all the time, just maybe on a date or something. Other than that she is right about eveything else. Have fun and if you need to, go to the mall and let the makeup girls help you:)

How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge?

My eyeliner especially tends to smudge under my eyes, giving me circles. Is there a trick to keeping it in place on the eyelids? I usually put a little foundation before I put on the shadow and liner, but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions? How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge?
After you apply your eyeliner ';set'; it with face powder or go over it with a little matching eyeshadow on the tip of your shadow applicator. That has worked for me, I used to have the same problem. I started using the eyeshadow trick because when I put powder on my eye area it settled into the little lines and made them more pronounced, the eyeshadow just placed over the eyeliner prevents that. How do I get my eye make-up to not smudge?
I put concelear under my eyes and only use a liquid liner for my eyes. If there is a little smudge during the day I reapply the concealer to take away any dark circles.
theres this certain kind that has like this little sponge at the end and it has ';smudge proff'; on it.

    it works for me.

and if that doesnt work than just put a little bit of black eyeshadow over the eyeliner.
change the brand u are using. try loreal eye liner.
Close your eyes and spray hair spray on your face. I have about this from those makeover people on t.v.- they say it really works. Good Luck!

What's a popular and super-cute way to wear eye make-up?

I mean I know the basic ';eyeliner and mascara'; but like, I want really descriptive stuff.

I'm changing my look this summer, and this means I'm wearing make-up now (I'm a little late in the game).

Pictures, recommended products, tips, guides to applying it -- I need it all!

Give me all you can, because I'm into change! What's a popular and super-cute way to wear eye make-up?
Okay, here's different looks for different colored hair:

Brunette (me!) - more ';smoky';-based eyeshadow, relatively dark. It help brings out the eyes. Then add a thin line of eyeliner around the entire eye (top and bottom!) and finish off with two strokes of extra-dark mascara. Then add some blush under your cheekbones to bring out the cheekbones and add a final coat of light pink lip gloss.

Blondies - sea-green, light blue eyeshadow. Either one works. Then add some liquid-navy blue eyeliner around the top eyelid. Leave the bottom eyelid bare of eyeliner. Then finish with a dark brown or light black coat of mascara. Add some tan or natrual colored blush under the cheekbones. Finish with a coat of dark pink lipgloss.

Redheads - natrual colored or golden eyeliner. Dark brown eyeliner around entire eye finished with a coat of black mascara. Add some pale blush (not TOO pale) under cheekbones. Add a coat of clear lipgloss.

Of course since it's summer, you should go light on the make-up.

Apply a little white-ish shimmery in the inner corners of your eyes, they make your eyes look much more awake. Not too much though, just a little.

If you like eyeliner, go for liquid. It won't smudge from all the sweat and stuff.

Maybe do a cat eye like this?

Doesn't have to be applied that thick. But that color is in.

    Here's another example. http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/2鈥?/a>
    Alright Anna...here are the basics!

Figure out what colors play up your eye..

if your eyes are blue: use browns, taupes, yellows, oranges, and even purples!

if your eyes are green: purples, blues, browns

if your eyes are brown: try some blue, greens, darker browns.

if your eye is small dont wear much liner--this will make them look smaller. if your eyes are large, play them up with eyeliner.

i start with a liquid foundation from origins. then i use mineral bronzer and a light pink blush on the apples of my cheeks. after that (i have blue eyes) ill put a vanilla-white base on my entire eye, then i'll put a darker brown (but still very light) on my eyelid, and then I will put a mocha brown in my crease. I will then line my lower eye completely and only 1/2 of my top eye. After that, I curl my lashes and apply mascara! As far as lips, try a lip liner that is more nude, and a color that is a little brighter!
The popular 'look' at the moment is the 'Smokey eye' here is a video of how to do it : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCnJ8B0Ay鈥?/a>

Makeup Rule #1 ... Your clothing should never determine what color makeup to wear!

Your makeup should complement your skintone, haircolor, and eye-color.

Blue eyes usually look best in shades of peach/brown/rust ... but for school, just a little.
Neutral colors or light make up work best for a daytime look. I love the bronze golden colors at mac. They give your eyes enough ';pop'; without actually looking like you tried too hard.
Some dark blue eyeliner, or black(but apply lightly for black) then some mascara of top lashes.
Hmm maybe a gold eyeshadow or just stick to neutral colors.
um blue or glitter but just so you know glitter can be real cute but a bit messy if your not careful

How does eye make-up remover work on a chemical level?

Make-up remover acts as an organic solvent. Since many powders and foundations are mostly composed of polar and non-polar organic molecules, the solvent needs to be able to dissolve both without dissolving your face at the same time. One of these solutions is shown in one of the movies provided in the source area. It consists of a mixture of alum (KAl(SO4)2 *12H2O), paraffin wax, and mineral oil.

Will i need different eye make-up when i start wearing glasses?

I'm getting reading glasses soon and am wondering if i should do anything different with my make-up. I don't wear much - just a bit of light shadow and mascara, and a bit more if out at nightWill i need different eye make-up when i start wearing glasses?
definitely curl your lashes because otherwise the lashes will hit the glasses and its really annoying, but other than that everything can stay the same, you mite even want to do more exciting things to bring more attention to your eyesWill i need different eye make-up when i start wearing glasses?
As a permanent glasses wearer myself my following comment is based on my own experience:

Wait till you have your glasses on before making any decisions/changes to your make-up. My guess would be no you won't have to make changes unless you do a LOT of reading. If you find your eyelashes touch the lenses then curl them (I'm lucky that I don't have to).

As for the eye shadow (and this is based on if you wear your glasses for very long periods of time), again, have your glasses on and look at your eyelids in the mirror (not up close, just a normal distance as if you are someone else looking at your eyes). If you can't see the shadow very well then you have 2 options: a) go for shadows in your preferred colours but with a sparkle/shimmer to them so the light catches on them, or, b) use slightly darker shades than you use now. As a 3rd option you can go both slightly darker and with sparkle/shimmer to the shadows.

Again, wait till you have your glasses to work all this out. The length of time you have to wear them will also be a deciding factor based on how much you read.
if your glasses are a certain color you have to think about the color of your makeup. If you have red glasses, green eye makeup might not go so well.

If you wear neutral colors though - you're fine. You don't need to change anything. You might want to wear some eyeliner though - it defines your eyes, you want to bring out what you're hiding behind lenses!

Does anyone else have a hard time getting eye make up to look the same on both eyes?

I always seem to have a much harder time on my left eye and can spend up to 30 minutes just trying to get my bloody mascara right! Drives me crazy!!!! Does anyone else have this problem and perhaps any ideas/tips to help quicken the process? Or is it rather the obsessive perfectionism I need to confront?Does anyone else have a hard time getting eye make up to look the same on both eyes?
Yeah I can never get an exact match on both eyes. It's pretty annoying but you get better at it the longer you apply make-up.Does anyone else have a hard time getting eye make up to look the same on both eyes?
No one is perfect. This goes to our lashes, eye brow and etc..Therefore, you may not get your mascara right on the both side. Our eyes may be larger one side and smaller the other side. The skin above the lid is fleshier than the other side. This is goes to lashes. One side may be longer and the other side is shorter and just doesn't curl well.

I suggest you try to use fake eye lashes. This will be a better solution to your problems. Your eye lashes will look more balance!

For eye make up, the safest way is to have a good lighting. Always start on the lighter tone on both eyes. You may add more in order to make the two eyes lids looks balances.
i dont have trouble with mascara but my eyeliner and eyeshadow never look the same on both eyes! it bugs me so much!!!
Sometimes. I guess if u dont do loads it wont b so hard to make both sides look the same!
That was a problem for me too! But what I found out was when you keep things simple its easier and looks good as well. Apply a clear base mascara first and after a few seconds just a stroke or two of the mascara and let dry. It works for me hope it would help you too.
yessss. i just sit there until it is right.

UGH! i think its cause like i right with my right better then my left. even though my left it pretty neat.
well I usually just put it on and figure that it'll endup comming off by the end of the day, and no ones looking that closely at it..
yeah it look dfenr cuz idk but my makup look almost but no the same
I had the same problem, so what I do now is I do the left eye first and then the right.

So the right eye would be easier so depending how I made the left eye I do the same for the right.

Anyways don't spend hours trying to perfect it if it's pretty close than that's enough. For mascara it's alot easier if you put a mirror under your chin and look downwards, for the eyeliner and eyeshadow I use a magnifying mirror, I'm done in 10 minutes
omg!!! totally!! it takes me the longest time to put my eyemakeup on

    sorry i wish i cld help u :\
if youre spending 30mins on one eye then its obsessing. the more you look at the problem through a problem gaze...then you have a problem. I agree with one of your responses, do the left eye first, just do it..... then the right eye, then go.
Maybe it has something to do with which hand of yours is dominant. Maybe your eyes are subtly but naturally uneven :) Mine are.

Look at pictures of the styles that interest you and try to copy them on your face. Practice is the key to good-looking make up jobs. Keep working at it until you've achieved what you set out to do!How can i apply my eye make-up in a gothic or emo style? to make it look good?
First, put on some heavy mascara, then liquid eyeliner on your upper lids. Put on a muted color (purple is always good) just under the eyebrow. Then put a darker hue below that. Finish off with a black or near black eyeshadow on the eyelid itslef. Make sure to blend the layers! Then use a pencil eyeliner to do your bottom lid. Smudge the bottom if you wish.
Just put on Really Dark,Dark,Dark Blak Eyeshadow%26amp;eyeliner!
For gothic? Try a smokey look with a black to very dark gray eye pencil and/ eye shadow. Smear the top. Possibly add mascara too. Or try thickly lining your eyes with a black liquid liner, and drawing a line around that either on the top/bottom/both in a contrasting metallic blue/turquois/silver... just possible things to try that I have tried myself.
I read this in a magize were you put on powder in between coats of mascara and put on fake eye lashes that are extermely black.
You are going to need... black eyeshadow, q tips, fake lashes, and a volumizing mascara (add colored eyeshadow if you want...i like adding the greys...they sell a 4 pack that has a light grey all the way to black.) use the black eyeshadow to line your eyes (wet the brush first) this makes the line smoother and eaiser to control/blend. then use a light grey to cover your eye (all the way) add a dark grey and blend the black. add your fake eyelashes and two coats of volumizing mascara.

for an extra touch put a small amount of chap stick on your eyebrows to shape.

also put some of your foundation on your lips and add a chapstick or clear/goldish gloss. it will give your lips an amazing look while down playing them a little to make your eyes pop!

    Good luck

You haven't told us what your complexion tone is. Golden tones are great on dark skin, but might look artificial on fair skin. If you use purple on pale skin, it might look like you're bruised.

Go to the PL and look through some of the professional makeup books. Find someone who looks like you and see what the artist did to achieve the look. There are also makeup sites on the web, many of them run by the makeup companies where you enter your information and they suggest colors.

For example, I too have dark brown eyes, but have a fair Celtic complexion, so black eye liner and mascara look harsh. I use brownish black mascara for special occasions and clear for every day. My liner is chocolate on top and khaki brown under my lashes. It looks natural, not scary. Have fun finding your style.
A nice purple brings out the tones of the brown.

It's best to first use a base, then a light lavender on the lid. Then in the crease use a darker plum but not harsh, you need to smudge it a make it fluid. Add a violet liner and black or brown mascara
Here are a few videos that I found on youtube that will help you achieve the look that you are looking for.

These videos are step by step videos as well.

i am not sure about green eyes since i have blue ones but maybe u can look at the colors in the premade almay palettes made especially for various eye colors to bring them out...id also visit sephora or nordstrom and they will consult with you and help u pick out the right make up

on a website, it says shades of pink, salmon, mueve, brownish pink will make ur eyes look greener and also green eyeshadow will intendify the color as well

GREEN or HAZEL EYES: The best colors for green eyes are brown, purple, deep khaki or forest green. If you keep in the green family it will enrich your eyes. Going back to Make-Up USA's eye shadow selection, I would recommend again the Lagune and the Orient, because they go very well with green eyes too, but would add Sahara (mixes dark green with light green). This color can be dramatic if you use more of the dark green, or subtle if you use more of the light green. Dark green on the lower lid, light on the upper lid. If you want a very subtle (I'm not wearing any make-up but look fabulous) I would recommend Algue Nacree (which is a light green with a white color) this helps lighten your eyes and makes you appear younger. Again I would recommend black or gray eyeliner depending on how dramatic you are trying to be. Gray for everyday, black for evening. A black mascara is best. SPECIAL NOTE: If your hair color is dark, then I would concentrate on the darker colors for enhancement. If your hair color is light, then I would concentrate on the lighter and medium colors for enhancement. Thank you again for your inquiry. If you have any more questions, feel free to write back. What eye make up [suitible for 14 year old] would make bring out the green in my eyes?
Don't use green make-up!!! It will tone your eyes down. Use an opposite of green like orange eyeshadow. Also use brown or black eyeliner and mascara. Your green eyes will pop!!!
Baby,if you have Green eyes then it really don't matter what you put around them, when you get a bit older you ain't gonna need anything else.

this is just a compliment nothing more.
Green or violet shades will bring out the green in your eyes. I have grass green eyes and I've found the best way to make them stand out is to wear a green shirt or green bead earrings.

Try brown eyeliner and/ or mascara.

Oh, and push your bangs back so we can see those lovely eyes.
i think natural look is best.
I am 14 as well. pink works for me. it compliments it without over powering it.
    plum
Depends on if you have dark green eyes or not. If you do, go with a green/ brown eyeshadow w/ a greenish eyeliner. If not go w/ sage and brown.
oh i think brown goes with ANY eye color...soft browns or brown/black...i believe almay makes a whole line of eye makeup that is meant for green eyes. ive used the blue...cuz uhhh ive got the big blues ;D
    violet plums
NEVER wear green eyeshadow with green eyes. use a light purple with a sort of pearl look to it. Possibly even a goldish white or a light pearl pink. You always want a pearl color they look the best trust me. Or actually even a brown color would be cute. Then with a cute tan and a little blush and bronzer you will certainly turn some heads. :] trust me.
    I don't know.

I wonder the same thing, because I have hazel eyes, more on the green side, but people always think I have brown eyes just because the brown stands out more.
does black not work? sorry then
I know that colors in the purple family will bring out green eyes (I have them myself). Some drugstore makeup brands have eye-enhancing make-up based on your eye color. I also like to wear a gold/copper color.
I have green-hazel eyes,so here I speak on behalf of experience.Use earthy colors such as green, beige and light brows.A little of mascara is ok.Do not overdo on the make-up and don't worry about foundation or nothing.Your skin is at best right now,and you're still growing, therefore do not get into all.Enjoy the youthful skin while it lasts.

Black eyeliner is good, but do not exaggerate.I suggest you leave it to use to go to a party or at night,or maybe a special event.

If you want to have some fun with other colors, make sure they are not dark.Like if you got a blue shirt on,use a light shade of blue or blue eyeliner and that's all. But,use in moderate.

Trust me,a lot of people would wish they have your green eyes and have your youth again in order to not wear a lot of make up.

    So,just use in moderate.Good luck!

What colour eye make up will suit small eyes?

i kinda have small eyes and i want to use eye make up to make them look bigger and better. what colour eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner should i use, or what brand how should i apply it? thanks :) best answer gets 10 pts :)What colour eye make up will suit small eyes?
The key to making eyes bigger is to focus on light shades. Dark ones will make eyes appear even smaller. Sweep a light shade over lid, then shade the outer corner of the lid and the crease with a darker shade. Line the outer upper and lower lids with eyeliner making sure to taper a bit outside the eye (elongating it). Lastly, a dab of white or cream shadow in the middle of the browbone will make eyes pop. (A word of warning: make sure brows are perfectly plucked, otherwise stray hairs will stand out as if lit by klieg lights). What colour eye make up will suit small eyes?
    use white eyeliner!

and avoid using black eyeliner because it outlines your eyes and shows them really how small they are.

Don't close your eyeliner in around your eyes. Only draw the line to the middle of your eye on the bottom lid. Maybe, on the top, you could do a little wing. :]
i say black eyeliner and mascara and then a darker color eyeshadow! if the eyeliner is applied a little thicker but not to much down your eye, it will look awsome.
if you tried to use a colored eyeliner like blue, teal, or purple that would help.... also i'm not sure if you're comfortable with this but if you used fake eyelashes that aren't totally like POW big but just like natural long length and then took mascara and put it on ur eyelashes and ur fake ones it will blend in and look pretty natural.. if you dont like fake eyelashes try this tip for applying mascara....put the brush at the root of the eyelashes and wiggle moving up slightly then pull it through the rest of the way... and then for color wise for eyeshadow that doesnt really matter but if you took some glittery eyeshadow and put it under the ends of your eyebrows on your eyelid it makes ur eyeslook bigger...

oh ya and if you use glitter mascara which you can get at target it adds the extra glam. it may not seem like its on there but i wore it the first day and 5 people complimented me on it.

    hope that helps

    peace out! bi
you should use a nice warm color eyeshadow and black eyeliner , remember the trick with make up is that people should not no that you have it on.

What is the best, natural eye make-up remover?

I am looking for something that will take it off but that is not going to damage the delicate eye skinWhat is the best, natural eye make-up remover?
Vaseline, baby lotion, baby oil, or olive oil. I would personally recommend olive oil, because it's the most moisturizing. Many people even use it in natural hair and face masks. What is the best, natural eye make-up remover?
the avon makeup remover. its just like a lotion. the liquid ones ten to have allot of alcohol and could burn if you use them around your eyes.

    i LOVE this stuff :)
i really like using olive oil. A little goes a long way. Removes most eye make up in one swipe. It works nicely as a moisturizer to.
I use baby wipes to remove my eye-makeup. It doesn't damage your skin and really cleanses the excess oil and color off.

How do I clean my eye make up brushes without using the the expensive cleaning stuff.?

I cant wash them cuz they are made og real hair and water will apparently damage them. How do I clean my eye make up brushes without using the the expensive cleaning stuff.?
Oh yeah, forget those expensive cleansers. I spent a fortune on them until I met a woman who does makeup for a living. Try a mild shampoo.

Wet the brush. Put a drop of shampoo in the palm of your hand. Then in a circular motion move the brush around in your palm.

Then rinse the brush, shake out the water and place in an upright position for it to air dry.

Do not use wipes!! They will not remove all the makeup and bacteria from the brushes. I cannot for the life of me figure out why the previous answerers are telling you to use them. How do I clean my eye make up brushes without using the the expensive cleaning stuff.?
Take a wet-wipe out of it's package, %26amp; leave it out to dry for a few minutes (so it's only slightly moist, not damp), %26amp; move the brush back %26amp; forth over it untill you get all the make-up out of it.

It works, %26amp; it won't ruin the brushes.
i would say wash them with shampoo in water but seeing as you cant do that .. maybe wipe them with facial wipes

    sorry not much help
Um rinse it out in warm water

    Trust me it works
I use baby shampoo to clean my brushes and i haven't had any issues.
Try baby wipes, should do the trick

What are some good eye make up ideas for gray eyes?

I have gray eyes and my skin color is medium if that helps. I just need ideas for eyes (Eyeliner, eye shadow, etc) and nothing too expensive, probably $20 or $30 the most. What are some good eye make up ideas for gray eyes?
Charcoal, cool brown and purple well When you are picking colors for your skin tone, stick with natural, subtle colors. If you have a fair complexion, it is best to stay away from dark colors. For dark skinned women, you should stay away from white or light colors; look for eyeshadows that are deep with color. Choosing the best eyeshadow for your skin tone and eye color will help your eyes to stand out. It makes the whites of the eyes appear ';whiter,'; causing the iris color to ';pop.'; I'm not saying you have to stick with these colors for the rest of your life, I know we all need a little variety. But these are the best colors for you on the days you really want to look your best.

  • Can I use an eye make up remover to cleanse my eye area?

I don't wear any eye make up (only some eye creams) but have to cleanse my eye area (lids, lashes) about twice a day as I'm prone to eye infection. Right now I'm using my facial cleanser to clean my eyes but I'm afraid this might dry them out.Can I use an eye make up remover to cleanse my eye area?
Yes, you can use an eye make-up remover to do that. I found an unusual cleanser from Germany that might be good for what your special needs are. It looks just like water, but is a gentle cleanser... The brand name is AYER and the product name is Ayerogen (complexe Hydro-Performante). You might be able to order it online if you don't have access to imported European products. Can I use an eye make up remover to cleanse my eye area?
There are special lid scrubs that you can get from your eye doctor. But something that works just as well is diluted baby shampoo. Mix up a small bottle (so it doesn't get contaminated) of 1 part baby shampoo to 2 parts water. This is much cheaper and safer to use on your eyelids than eye makeup remover.
yeah, just don't use it on your face any where else, don't get it in your eyes.
better to just use industrial paint thinner... really does the job well and if you splash enough on your face you might even get the same effect as Michael Jackson. Simply Stunning!

How do you keep your eye make-up intact?

By the end of the day, my eyeliner is all smudgy and gross. Is there any way to prevent this? How do you keep your eye make-up intact?
I use an oil mattifier after I wash my face, that usually prevents the sheen. Then I dab on a bit of foundation around my eyes, to keep the makeup fresh looking. How do you keep your eye make-up intact?
i have the same problem and sometimes it helps it i just dont touch my eyes and that helps but thats all i now hope i helped?
You may want to try a primer before putting on your eye makeup. I know for sure Smashbox has an eye primer and if I'm not mistaken so does Bare Minerals. It can be expensive but you use a very little amount. Its like a lot a sticky lotion and you put it on first then your eye makeup...it locks it on so no smudging or rubbing and it also helps to make your eye color more vibrant.
I use a primer, either paint by MAC or a paint pot...some people swear by Urban Decay Primer potion.

And as for eyeliner, MAC Fluidline does NOT budge ALL DAY. It's scary for some people because technically it's a liquid but it's a 'gel' liner so it's not as hard to mess it up
That has alot to do with the oil in your skin. Start by keeping yourself oil free by using a mattifing lotion or astringent. Then as far as eyeliner goes, try a liquid eyeliner. OR even use a powder liner.

I general use both and my eyeliner stays put all day. If you are unhappy with the liquid or powder stick with your regular pencil and then set it with the powder.
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer before you do your eye makeup.
Pencil eyeliners are always the worse to put on because they smuge off way before days end. Your best bet is to use an angled brush and line your lids with a power shadow. For some reason it lasts longer. Your second option to use liquid eyeliner but it takes some practice if you've never used it before. If you have no choice but to use a pencil the best way I know how to make it last longer is to blend your foundation on your upper eyelid and put any sort of setting power ontop of it so it basically gives you a nice smooth oil-free canvas to work with.
Try to find waterproof eyeliner and wear that. If you want to keep your non-waterproof eye makeup in place, I recommend using Urban Decay's Primer Potion, which keeps my eyeliner (on my upper lid and carefully applied below my lower lid eyelashes) and eye shadow in place all day.

You can find it here: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

Good luck, and I hope you find this helpful!
use an eyeshadow, but one soooo neutral that you cant see it there. because the eyeliner has oils itself it will not stick to your face oils for long periods of time. so get a little tiny tiny brush and put the skin colored eye shadow on befor the liner. its way easy. i had the same problem but i asked this lady when i got my makeup done.
Simply dust a light layer of loose translucent powder over the eyeliner and over any eyeshadow. It helps to blend and ';lock'; the eye makeup onto your face.

    Best of luck!

What is the difference if a site provides an eye make up brush and an eye make up kabuki brush?

I am very uneducated about make up.

Also anyone buy any brushes from everyday minerals?

Any suggestions??What is the difference if a site provides an eye make up brush and an eye make up kabuki brush?
kabuki brushes are for mineral makeup.

and the regular ones are for reg. makeup.

but both work ok for whatever you use them, i guess.

lol. What is the difference if a site provides an eye make up brush and an eye make up kabuki brush?
An eye makeup brush generally will have curved bristles. An eye kabuki brush will be more flat and also denser (bristles closer together).

I wouldnt get brushes from EveryDay Minerals. I would try either www.coastalscents.com or even better, go to your local craft store and get paint brushes there. They are THE same brushes. Go to youtube and look for a video by Enkore. His does a video on the difference between MAC brushes and art supply store brushes (no difference).

Also, you can go to CVS and get their Essence of Beauty brushes.
yea kabuki brushes are usually associated w/ mineral makeup or applying powder/loose powder makeup. Also usually they are bigger and more expensive.

What eye make-up colour brings out green eyes?

I currently have a neutral black eyeliner,

but recently I heard that specific coloured eyeliners bring out specific coloured eyes.

I have olive-green eyes and would like to know what eyeliner (or eyeshadow) colour would bring out my eyes. What eye make-up colour brings out green eyes?
No if you have green eyes you don't wear green eyeshadows or green eyeliners!!! I don't know why so many girls make this mistake!! Also, please don't match your shirt with your eyeshadow!!

The other girls are right, it's def deep and light purples, deep blues, browns (not for eyeliner), bronzes, golds, sliverish/bluish shades, and rose colors not light pinks but rather a deep shade.

Smokey eyes are gorgeous on green eyes as well!

Note: Make sure to dust some loose powder after you apply purples, bc if you over do it your eyes can look blood shot!

I always wear black eyeliner on my inner lids and black mascara and my eyes look awesome!!What eye make-up colour brings out green eyes?
A purple or plum color. I use the Almay Intense i-color eyeshadow trio for Green eyes. Also, I have the eyeliner that coordinates with the eyeshadow and find that I can use it separately, even with just a plain brown shadow for work, and it makes my eyes ';pop'; a little more. Here's a link to the page for Green eyes specifically: http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyesl鈥?/a> Also, go to Sephora if you have one near you and ask them for some advice. You'll likely get exactly what you're looking for and it will be a really good product (b/c all their stuff is). :) They always help me out.
for green eyes, greens are your best eye shadow colour. to really brighten your eyes try a deep khaki or forest green. brown, apricot, purple, and plum eye shadow will also enhance your eye colour.

for eyes that stand out more, eye shadow colour for green eyes are gold, lime-green, really light green, and bright purple.

i have green i eyes and i realized that brown liner over black liner makes my eyes POP...a light bronze eye shadow...also purple tends to do the trick.
There's quite a few products out there that are a set of colors just for green eyes. They are usually greens and purples/lavenders.
Pinks and Purples! You could also apply a little bit of a creamy white color to your tear ducks to make your eyes pop!
    Purple suits all eyes,ecspecially green.
purple and blue create a really beautiful effect for the green eyes
a nice lavender color, becuase it brings out the flecks of shimmer in your eyes. itw ould look great!!!!!
    purple, brown, white, green
    teal green
    PURPLE!
um I use brown and that looks pretty good on me

When you wear eye make-up, how do you stop your eyes from itching?

I don't wear eye make-up too often unless I'm going out, but I'd like to wear it everyday. When I do wear it, I usually put on the works: Eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow.

I have worn eye make-up to work on several occassions and throughout the evening (I work 2nd shift) I find that my eyes may get irritated and start to itch. How can I wear eye make-up and avoid this?

I have asked women that I have worked with how do that avoid this and how do they rub their eyes if it itches and they have showed me, but it just seems like too much work.

Any suggestions? When you wear eye make-up, how do you stop your eyes from itching?
Hopefully you are not wearing eye liner in your eyes and instead on the lid or right under the lash. This can irritate your eyes when penciling them into the eye. Sometimes the eyeshadow powder can irritate as well as they can come near the eye and tickle the area. The powder can fall on the lashes too. Try to keep the eye area from getting to much powdery stuff near it, keep it clean, (use a cotton swap, cotton ball or even a makeup sponge would probably be better to swipe away excess powder lightly around the eyes). You could be allergic to mascara if you are using a cheap brand, try other brands if the current one your using makes your eyes itch. It's trial and error. It's also a good idea to get waterproof so it doesn't smudge. When you wear eye make-up, how do you stop your eyes from itching?
You need to use a hypo allergenic brand like Almay. Report Abuse

i always have the problem of touching my eyes forgetting that i put on eye makeup. i had that problem today. i put on make up sparatically. sometimes ill put it on all the time, other times ill put it one once or twice a month. just depends on where i go, who i hang out with. but in my eyes, you never know who you can run into. (anywhere). but i wear waterproof mascara, and powder eyeliner by mac. the eyeliner is what drops during the day causing black under my eyes, even when i blow away the excess when i put it on. i just put on cover up til the end of the day tho. i love color on my eyes, i just hate all the time and effort and left over black eyes even after i take 10minutes taking off the eye make up.
Sounds like you are allergic to your mascara or eyeliner or both.

Get a new tube of a hypoallergenic brand that does not contain fragrance. And no, you don't have to put mascara anywhere. Try Neutrogena's Mascara. They have a gel formula that is very fine in texture, and may irritate you less.
that's an allergy.try almay or boots no7 products both hypo allergenic and fragrance free, also not tested on bambi skippy or bugs bunny!
try hypo allergenic type also make sure you arent getting an infection try eyedrops sometimes your eyes are just dried out and tired this happens to me alot when i worked . also make sure you take off your eyemakeup before going to bed your eyes need to breath mascara also only last so long in a tube after a couple of weeks throw it out sounds kinda expensive but so is a doctors appoitment and then if you get pink eye or somthing you cant wear any at all take from me i also use to be called spider women not in a nice way refering to my eye makeup

i have heard that makeup on botom isnt necessary but i've worn it so long that i have to other wise i dont feel finished with my makeup i grew up in the 80's with poison we were the makeup generation no i didnt look at bad as tammie faye thanks goodness i just loves long lashes that were black
try putting foundation on your eyelids first and then a base such as a creamy pencil- then apply your eyeshadow. I know this works because I have many allergies and this what I do so that my eyelids don't itch.
I had my eyeliner tattooed on - cost me $400.00 and I use ';Kiss Me'; mascara. I don't use other eye products because they also cause my eyes to itch.
you dont have to put mascara on the bottom if you dont want to
in case of eye make up use a ear bud to remove it , as it helps to remove the liner and mascara close to your eyes. for teh eye shadow you should take cleansing milk on some cotton and remove it carefully without allowing teh cleansing milk to enter your eye.
    dont share makeup
try to get an waterproof/smudge-proof eyeliner, i bought some and it works wonders for me.
it could be an allergic reaction see a dermatologiest or doctor and ask them about it.

Or you can follow this guide:

    1. Powder

The first step in applying eye makeup begins with a dry eyelid, using no cream or foundation that may cause creasing or uneven color. After dusting the eyelid with a neutral shade of powder, using a soft brush, the eye shadow can be applied.

    2. Eye Shadow

There is a wide range of eye shadows, in powders and cr猫mes, to choose from that will complement your eye color. A slightly darker shade can be applied in the crease of the eyelid, as this will further emphasize the eye. Highlighting the eyebrow bone, with a pastel white, pink, or grey, will lessen the effect of deep-set eyes.

    3. Eye Liner

The next step is to apply the eyeliner in a thin line from the inner to the outer corner of the upper eyelashes, using a pencil or small brush in preference to a liquid eyeliner. Smudging of the eyeliner adds the natural effect, eliminating defined edges. It is generally not a good idea to line the lower lashes, as this tends to give the eyes an owlish appearance, making them seem smaller.

    4. Curling Lashes %26amp; Applying Mascara

If your lashes are short, you may consider using a lash curler before applying mascara. In general, two coats of mascara are used, waiting four to five minutes for each application to dry. Using a brush or wand, distribute the mascara evenly from roots to ends. A lash comb may be used to remove any clumps that are left.

    5. Eye Pencil

The final step is to define and fill in your eyebrows, with a slightly dull eye pencil. Eyebrows can be brushed or combed, as well, into a natural shape.

You can go to my site and do a make over quiz and it tell you what colors works best for your skin type.
Hi there. It sounds as if you have similar eye colour to mine.

Generally it is best to use natural Earth tones to enhance the brownish gold around the pupil. This will also warm your skin tones. Shimmers are best --- Bobbi Brown offer a highlighter set that is actually designed to be used as a cheek shimmer. It looks like strips of glitter. Use the lighter tones of these on their own or combined as eye shadow. Then use a soft brown eye pencil to frame your eyes...Lashings of Dior's Maximeyes mascara too! Use the shimmer to then sweep your cheeks in a straight line out from your cheek apple to your ear. use it sparingly though.... Then gloss your lips with a nice ';petal'; lip gloss from Bobbi Brown. You want to go for a warm, beachy look to warm your skin and enhance the green/blue tones and gold of your eyes. I am sure you will look beautiful - Enjoy your individuality!
my eyes are the same. stick with black or black/brown mascara/eyeliner and natural tome shadow. no shadow is the best shadow, lol
try a shimmer beige or light brown .thatose go good with more green eyes.
A light color cause if you use a dark color then it could make your eyes not so pretty they could turn Very Very Very Dark. So go with like a pink or white with shimmer.

What is the best way to remove eye make-up?

I have Asian Eyes and it's so hard for me to remove eye make-up such as eyeliner and mascara. It never completely goes away because I have almond shaped eyes.

Do you have any advice on what products I should use to remove my eye make-up?What is the best way to remove eye make-up?
neutregena eye make up remover or baby oil. both work well. i'm asian actually and it really works! What is the best way to remove eye make-up?
You need to get eye makeup remover specifically. For me, all face wash does is smudge eye makeup. I use Clinique and I rub it on my eye and then use a cotton ball to rub it off and w/ it comes the mascara/eyeliner BUT often a lot of the eyeliner goes to the botton my my eyelashes so then I take a Q tip and rub on the lashes and it all comes off.
either an eye-makeup remover or baby oil. eye-makeup is made for that, and there are a ton of kinds of it out there, maybe you should try that, use a cotton ball with either one to take it off.
I use clean and clear face wash and it all comes off. You may have to wash it twice, and be careful not to get it in your eyes. But it comes off.
i use this eye make-up remover from Avon.

    its amazing! :) haha.

    avon is a make-up company.

i buy a lot of my products from there.
You can use just like a wet q-tip or avon make up remover. It dosn't burn or irritate your eyes at all and it works pretty well.
I use Maybelline Expet Eyes eye makeup remover. It's great because it doesn't sting any worse than water if it gets in your eyes and I've yet to find a makeup that it won't remove.
For me, regular soap gets it off well. But I guess a real facial cleanser would be the best if you have one.
Lancome Bi facil or just a drop of good ole' baby oil

Here's what I do when I want to look like I'm going without make up but need a little -something-.

First I use a little Smashbox lid primer. It's a neutral color and makes just a great evened out lid color, it looks like nothing is there, it just softens the lid a bit.

Next I tight line my eyes... this one's tricky and takes practice. It's lining the inner rim of your -upper- lid. Pressing gently onto your eye lid it will make the inner rim of your upper lid more visible and then you take a soft pencil or brush (with cream liner) and line the rim carefully. Most people have never done that before so it might feel odd at first, but trust me, after you've done it several times it's a piece of cake. Tight lining gives you the -effect- of having lined your eyes without the visible line. You get definition to the eye area, a denser lash base, but because you can't actually see the line sitting on top of your lid it looks MUCH more natural. Last of all I use 4 Day Stay from Tarte. It's a lash stain, it doesn't build up the way mascara does, you apply one coat, it stains your lashes, and you don't have to apply it again for 4 days. Again, giving you the effect of wearing a mascara because of the depth of color, but without the build up so it looks more natural.

    Hope that was helpful!
Yeah like the other people have said on your question if you just wear mascara without the eye liner and the shadow you still look good without wearing too much make up

Not that you don't look good without make up.

Don't know if this helps see instead of putting any mascara, shadow or black liner on put some white eye liner on the water line of your eye because it mnakes you look more awake and makes your eyes look bigger.
I feel you there. For a while I just didn't wear makeup, and people asked me if I was sick.

I use all 3 again now, but if I wanted to do a natural look, I'd probably just wear brown mascara, only as much eyeliner as I thought was necessary, and maybe fleshy-colored eyeshadow, if I wanted. Try that one day, and see how you like it. It's more about comfort with your look than anything else, so just wear as little as you can to feel comfortable going out.
Hello Victoria, I know that is going to be hard not wearing any make-up at all when you are so use to wearing it. I do make-up for a living and i tell you there are so many tricks to looking natural. Let me tell you a couple.

    First: You can wear a light coat of liquid make-up and then apply some light bronzer. This will create the effect that you are natural with a little gold tone to your face. The best make-up to use is MAC and Chanel. They are very cheap and they last a long time. I use the same make-up for more than a year plus they are not as bad on your skin. For your eyes: you can apply some light gold or pink pale silver color to make your eyes pop. Mascara in the pink and green bottle (you know what I'm talking about Walmat 3.87) apply this to your top lashes. You can use it on you bottom just little bit. For your lips find you some nice light pink lipgloss. its almost sheer without liner. Mac has some nice light colored lipglass with a nice shine. My favorite and my cleints love it is ';OrchardGirl';

My second tip if you want to do no make-up at all is to just simply do a great facial. Oil of Olay has good facials that makes your skin has a natural glow and shine. Then apply a nice lipgloss or like lipstick with lopgloss (light coat) over the top. When wearing make-up you never want to over do and look like a clown. (Not sayinng that you are) All make-up is suppose to compliment and destroy your natural image. I'm not sure what kind of Make-up you wear but I suggest MAC and Chanel. They are wonderful and you will find everything that you will ever need for a simple and flawless natural look. Do not feel that you face is horrible. I bet that it is not. Everyone is going to the natural style. Let me know how things work out for you. if I do another natural look I let you know or post it............................... Miami
Well, you could try really really treating your skin, and hopefully it will end up nice enough so that you will feel comfortable without make-up.

As for your eyes, the way you think you look ';horrible'; without it, is just because it's going against that the norm that all pretty girls wear make-up.

Maybe try slowly reducing the amount of make-up you wear? For example, do it in stages.

Like start off by wearing a less obvious shadow, then make it even more subtle, and then just wearing a natural colour, and then not wearing any shadow at all.

Then reduce the eye-liner. If you wear it on top and on the bottom and in black, then first change the bottom eyeliner to white, but keep the top as black. Then remove the bottom eyeliner, keeping it on the top. Then change the black colour to more of a velvety brown, and then wear less of it (a more subtle line), and then stop wearing eye-liner.

Finally, with the mascara, if you put it on the top and bottom lashes, then firstly stop putting it on the bottom and just on the top lashes. Then wear less mascara, then change the black to brown, then change the brown to clear, and then once again, stop wearing mascara.

You are now free from make up! But who knows, maybe somewhere along the line you will find something that you really like, and then stick with it!

    Hope I helped. xx
Without any eye makeup, you would look natural...you answered your own question.

If you want your makeup to look less noticeable, then try using a brown mascara, NO black eyeliner (I know raccoon eyes are the thing to do right now, I'm guilty of it myself but not to the extent of most women), and a shade of brown or gold that complements your skin tone.
Well if you really think you look terrible without all 3 of those, then maybe you should try just the eyeliner.

I used to wear all that too but I cut back on the mascara and eyeshadow and just wear eyeliner on the top lid. It makes your eyes stand out, but not overdone for everyday. Maybe use all 3 for parties or other special occasions.

    Hope that helped. =)
if you think you look horrible wihtout make up its probably coz its just a shock to see yourself wihtout it. if you want to look good wiht no make up try treating your skin so its really nice and you feel comfertable without make up on.

then you can dye your eyelashes so there is no need ofr mascara. you can by eyelash dying kjits from most superdrugs or boots or chemists.

Well Make up does show our beauty and intense it , i see no reason to stop wearing make up a of a sudden , it sould actually be gradual , any one who is used to alot of make up , woud feel horrible without ..

but anywa ,wy dont yutry natural looks ?

its easy, just skip the liner and shadow, but use the mascara. I always wear mascara, even when going for the natural look. and maybe wear a brown-black rather than black-black, as a brown-black is a bit more subtle
If you get eyelash extensions its like having mascara permenantly on you and it looks amazing! Or get your eyelashes tinted and it should solve most of those problems.
just put light lipstic colour if u want or u can quit it, but wear nice dress matching u wear fashion accessories for ur neck and earing, make nice hair style without make up alos u u will look very beautiful.
    lol

    you probly dont look horrible.

you just think you do because your so use to wearing it.
