I'd go with a black or brown shade of eyeliner and mascara (always try to match your eyeliner and mascara). A medium brown, gold, or purple shade of eyeshadow on the lid (try to go with an opposite color of your eye color, it will make them POP). Go with a light shade of pink or even beige eyeshadow for in between the eyebrow and the crease of your eye. Hope I helped!
to answer the first part of ur question...if u use a cranberry color eyeshadow in the inner corner of ur eyelids and then blend it into whatever other color eyeshadow ur wearing it will make the green really pop.

I use black stick eyeliner on the bottom, liquid eyeliner on the top, like half a cm. thick, and medium brown eyeshadow.





I don't think it looks bad, haha.
