What is the best way to achieve '60s eye make-up look?

I know you're supposed to go heavy on the eyeliner, but do you just do the top lid? I have quite large eyes and I think it would be a wicked look, but I don't know how to go about it.

Yeah, you're only supposed to go ';overboard'; on the top lid, because if you do the bottom lid, you run the risk of have the 'coon eye look.





Now if you're REALLY daring, you could use liner and draw lines on the bottom to have ';Twiggies'; but that look only works for some people. It would look like exaggerated lashes. I'd just do the top lid.
