What type of eye make-up to use when using fake eyelashes?

I'm going to an event and want to apply fake eyelashes (for a dramatic look), what type of make-up should I wear? I don't want to use liquid eyeliner....any suggestions??What type of eye make-up to use when using fake eyelashes?

umm just your regular make up....just use stick eye liner it works better....thats all i can really think of
