How should I do my eye make up?

My eyes are dark, my eyelashes are pretty short and you can't see them much unless you look at them up close - even when wearing make up. One eye has my skin overlapping so that you can't see my eyelashes at all! Its very unfair and annoying.

You also can't see my eyelids. My eyes look too dark with eyeliner.

Any advice?

Thanks. How should I do my eye make up?
I kinda have this problem, too. My eyelashes are no more than stubs, and one eye has some skin that overlaps, and makes it look smaller than the other. It makes me pretty self conscious. What I do is use fake eyelashes. They work wonders for me and really open up my eyes. I also wear a darker shade of eye shadow. This way you can't even tell that they're not the same size. And sometimes, since my eyes are so small, and slightly..off, I sometimes don't even wear liner on the bottom. Just mascara on the bottom, and it looks fresh and your eyes look open.

Hope this helps, doll. How should I do my eye make up?
I can't wear eye makeup having had radiotherapy to one of my eyes and it therefore being very sensitive but I found a solution! Have you considered individual artificial eyelashes for special occasions? I had never heard of them! but one of my friends looked particularly nice one day and she told me about them. Rather than false eyelashes which go on in a strip and look fake, individual lashes are glued to your own. It looks natural but really 'opens' your eyes. I currently just have a few long ones in the outer corners of my eyes and they look great. They last for two or three weeks and aren't expensive to have done.
instead of black or brown eyeliner why dont you try colour eyeliner with matchin coloured mascara??
