i do it all the time i have really sensitive eyes. it sucks! try better make up that wont irritate them. i had to completely stop using mac eyeshadows.

Try switching to a hypoallergenic and non-irritating brand, such Almay, Physicians Formula, and Clinique so avoid itchiness.
