Honestly I'd just take a small bottle of baby oil. I've never used petroleum jelly, but that'd probably be easier to take in a small container.
Just read the suggestion above me and remembered that a lot of people put baby oil on some cotton balls and then stick them in a plastic bag.
why dont you just buy some?
