What are some eye make-up tricks to make eyes look larger?

white shimmery eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes, even a little bit on the bottom, just in the inner creases. and then put a little on the highest part of your eyebrow arch.

dont go overboard though!

it really really really makes them look biggerWhat are some eye make-up tricks to make eyes look larger?
Do light eyeshadows. Like one light color over your whole eye, then do a little bit darker...but not too dark...color on the crease.

Also, eyeliner. Not black, or dark brown. Maybe like a purple or regular brown color...and line the top of your eyelid, and then on the bottom, line half away, not too thick. But the bottom half AWAY from the nose. That also helps your eyes to appear larger. What are some eye make-up tricks to make eyes look larger?
There are lots of ways to make your eyes look larger and brighter. Here's a few:

- Underneath your eyes on the waterline, line using a white pencil. http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en%26amp;鈥?/a>

- Curl your eyelashes and apply two coats of black mascara, this will really open up your eyes.

Hope I helped xx
White eyeliner can make your eyes appear larger. Don't wear dark eyeliner, because that's what makes them look smaller. Mascara can also help make them look bigger and open them up more.
You can find great make-up tips on my website:

www.marykay.com/hildacrowe
curl your eyelashes. tightline your upper waterline. make the eyeliner on the bottom of your eye thicker as you move out from the inner corner (tear duct).
You can look up how to videos on youtube. I would look up baby doll eye makeup and doe eye makeup.
eyelash curlers do wonders! I would try heating it with a hairdryer and then curl them!
black or one that is a similar colour to your skin tone

i have a dress which colours range from dark to light blue, all over the place and i have no idea what eye make up to wear! i have brown hair and green eyes and on the night i will have a tan (spray of course!). i will also be wearing brown and blue bangles and such, if that helps at all!Eye make up for a dress with all shades of blue?

What type of eye make-up brings out olive green eyes more?

Plumb or Purple shades. More darker are better, and layering them helps. Covergirl (I think is the brand) has makeup line for this. They have color matched eyeshadows and color matched mascaras. Almay does as well. I love the mascara, its called Exact eyelights I think, and it makes your eyes shine. What type of eye make-up brings out olive green eyes more?
For brunettes and dark haired ladies with green eyes, any purples, deep greens, and grays can complement your hair, eye, and skin combination.

Drugstore Suggestions:

Purples: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers, Trio Eye shadow, Dance Party, ~$5.00

Grays: Maybelline Expertwear Duo Eyeshadow, Grey Matters, ~$4.00

Greens: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Trio Eye Shadow, Sea Glass, ~$5.00What type of eye make-up brings out olive green eyes more?
Purples make green eyes pop, so try burgandy-purples, plums, and bright purples and purpley- pinks. Good luck
Something that is in the same scheme as your eyes, but less intense, will emphasize them nicely. And you can never go wrong with the proper shade of brown.
If you go on Youtube.com and type in: leona lewis eye makeup, then the first video that comes up will show a really pretty green eye and some nice eye shadow. Hope this helps!
Some really dark eyeshadow

What's a good eye make up remover?

Clean and Clear gel make up remover. I love it and it doesn't irritate my eyes. What's a good eye make up remover?
Ponds face cream, rub in on your eyes, have a warm wash cloth ready, no srcubbing involved. It'll take the paint off a car without hurting the body, lol. I swear by it. Report Abuse

i really like boots no.7 stuff... its not tooo expensive and it also doubles up as many other removers... i use mine to remove pen from my white board, remove nail polish off of my polished wood floor, makeup from surfaces... all sorts! so yeah... NO.7 ROCKS! x
It sounds crazy but baby lotion slides any eye make up right off. I used to use water proof masc era but i found putting it on and taking it off to time consuming. MY Solution fake eye slashes yes they have very natural looking ones from all price ranges. They go on and off very easily.
I have tried Mary Kay make-up remover...Awesome!! Or you can try loreal make-up remover..their lotion is great too!!

Pond's make-up remover. at CVS for like $4

works on ALL makeup. from eye glitter, waterproof mascara, cheap makeup to paint!! highly recommended
I am in my early 50 been using this product for ever It comes unscented 12oz jar $12.00 but it will last you over a year. I use it very day on water-proof mascera. Name is Albolene. I have tried other Vaseline. Crisco, Baby oil and I always came back . It can't be beat. Might not be as cheap as Crisco baby oil but i guarantee you'll never use anthing else . You only need a dab for each eye, rub gentlely, take off with tissue whatever Try it I bet you never change like me.
I agree with your answerer who suggested Mary Kay. I am a consultant if you need one. Go to my 360 page and click on my blast-you will then be routted to my website.
Baby oil.

bi-facial by lancome.

or, if you're cheap, use crisco. it sounds gross, but the high fat content gets the heaviest makeup off quickly. just be sure to wash your face well afterwards. its a trick i learned in theater because of the heavy stage makeup.

How do you put on your eye make up?

I'm just curious because I'm bored of my eye make up and wanna try doing my make up differently [:How do you put on your eye make up?
As you have dark hair and dark eyes. you should go for darker shades to bring them out a little. Try a little dark brown just on the bone of your eye lid, dab it on. Then sweep over your whole eye with a golden brown, Add eyeliner to both the top and bottom of your eyes for a more dramatic night look. Add mascara to both top and bottom lashes, for definition.

Hope i could have been a help. Carrie xxHow do you put on your eye make up?

  • What eye make-up is the best for me?

I'm a 22 year old female and have never worn an ounce of make-up. I've decided that I better start so I need some help. I'm pale, blonde hair (dirtier blonde) blue eyes . . . not so much dark blue but a lighter blue. I need something that looks good and isn't hard to put on in the morning... I'm the get up and go type girl. PLEASE HELP! lol I need all the appropriate suggestions I can get. What eye make-up is the best for me?
    Alright. This will be easy!

First: use a tinted moisturizer as your base. Some of these come with sunscreen, too, so you are killing three birds with one stone, sun protection, moisturizer and foundation all in one.

Second: Use a soft pink blush from the apples of your cheeks swept back into your hairline. Most of your color should be on the apples of your cheeks. If you like, there are cream blush products out there that you can use as your lip color, as well. This will save you time and money. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has a great one called Pot Rouge for lips and cheeks.

Third: use a pale ivory shadow from lashes to brow as a base. This will brighten your eye. Then take a soft taupe or grey shadow from your lash line to the crease. Either one of these tones will bring out the blue in your eyes.

Fourth: Use a pencil liner in dark brown, espresso color on the top only.

Fifth: Use 2 coats of black mascara

Sixth: Apply a soft pinkish/nude lip gloss

There you go! Simple and easy. Look dual use products ie: tinted moisturizers and cream blushes/lipsticks. These will allow you to get more bang for your buck, and will really pull your look together.

Have fun experimenting! What eye make-up is the best for me?
In order, of how much difference it makes:

1] shape and fill in brows if necessary

2] wear dark brown [ espresso ] or black brown mascara - depending on shade of brows or hair color

3] Physician's Formula eyeliner soft pencil - to match mascara.

a] use a very THIN line

b] line along lashlines only - not to inner corners of eyes, unless performing on Broadway

4] shadows are fun, because of all the color options. Try:

    greens

    grays

blues of a different shade than eye color [ teal, smoke blue ]

    browns

    purples

a] buy a trio or quartet of similar shades [ ex: several dif greens ]

b] put medium shade on lid, then

    c] darkest in crease

d] a LITTLE of lightest shade on brow bone, and at inner corner of eye

e] blend with a good shadow brush

f] practice at home, and look at yourself in dif lighting - you want 'hello, beautiful', not 'how much for some fun?'
well omg its scary but i look the same as you do. i also have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes and yes i am pale lol. so ive been wearing make up for 2 years now and at first it takes a while to do makeup in the morning but after a while you will get used to it and do it really fast. so i use a shiny gold eye shadown, black mascara, black eyeliner and i sometimes do a black topliner. i put on some light pink shiny lip gloss and blush. it seems like alot but it really isnt. i would recommend to start off with a little of each and then add more if you want to. hope i helped and good luck!
start with a light brown semi- shimmery eyeshadow and some brown mascara.

    add a light lipstick, lipbalm.

get the right shade of foundation/powder.

and also, most of us forget about our eyebrows. i use the Urban Decay brow box (it works wonders!)

    http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/BrowBox.cfm
for light blue eyes maybe a light or in the middle shade of brown eye shadow but not alot and dark brown eyeliner and maybe if you need it foundation and blush but u dont have to use it all if you want it to quick and easy
Look for an eyeshadow pencil to use. it's get up %26amp; go too. Avon or Mary Kay should have one %26amp; not too expensive.
i say u should wear light brown eyeliner w/ any shade of not-too-bold shadow and mascara. but make sure your mascara isn't black since your pale

What is the ideal brand for eye-make up for contact lenses users?

can you tell which brand is likely to be good for contact lense users. I am a first timer at using lenses What is the ideal brand for eye-make up for contact lenses users?
I just got contacts last week and am a life long Clnique fan. So far I have had no problems with make-up. Just don't use waterproof mascara because it won't wash off the contact easily. I use their quickliner for eyes on my waterline and it has been fine. Just remember to put your contact in BEFORE you start applying make-up to avoid getting it on your lens. Clinique is good because they don't add a lot of crap to their products. They can be a bit expensive if you are young or don't have much extra money. Look for a make-up line designed for sensitive skin or hypoallergenic and you will be fine. What is the ideal brand for eye-make up for contact lenses users?
    MaxFactor. Or Clinique.
I've heard Clinique is supposed to be good, and Almay as well.

Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?

My eyes are almond-shaped I guess and people say I have flecks of green in them but I can't see that. I have a 'dance' coming up so what make-up would you suggest?Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?
    ~Applying a Perfect Base

    1. Apply moisturizer 5 minutes before you start your makeup. All bases will go on more smoothly if your skin is well-hydrated. Tissue off any excess - while moisturized skin is good, too much grease will make it slip and slide.

    2. Remember that less is more, so don't apply big swathes; instead, put a few dots around your face. Now, using your fingers or a foundation sponge, blend these dots together. make sure you blend extra-well around your hairline and jaw. If you've chosen the right shade for your skin tone, there shouldn't be an obvious difference.

    3. Once the foundation has settled into the skin, check for any obvious under-eye shadows or blemishes showing through. If there are, correct these - if you have any of these and would like help on how to properly cover them up, click on my profile to e-mail me and let me know.

    ~How to Apply Blusher

    For a natural healthy glow:

    1. Apply foundation (and, if necessary, powder) as normal. Smile - where your cheek is naturally at its fattest is where blusher needs to go to create a natural look.

    2. Apply the blusher in a small circle, blending well. For best results, try a gel blusher. Now powder over the top.

~How to Apply Basic Eye Makeup

    1. Prime your eyelid. Eyeshadow will last longer if it's not applied directly to bare skin (oil on the lids can cause the shadow to crease, while dry lids will absorb moisture from the shadow, leaving blochy color), so sweep foundation over the top.

    2. Fill in your brows. Choose an eyebrow pencil that's the same color, or, if you're a blonde or a redhead and have very pale brows, one shade darker than your natural brow color. Using light strokes, gently color over your brows to add emphasis.

    3. Choose your shades. For this look, you need a light shadow, a medium shadow, and a dark. It doesn't matter what they are so long as they go together. Try ivory, dove gray, and charcoal on cool skins; taupe, beige, and chocolate brown on warm. Dust the lightest shade across the whole of your eye, lid, and socket.

    4. Now, take the medium shade and apply this tot he eye socket and the outer corner. Blend well using your finger.

    5. Take the darkest shade and, using your sponge applicator, apply a thin line of this along the top lid and around the bottom as close to the lashes as you can get. Blend this well with another applicator or a Q-tip to create a smudgy line. Finally, apply your mascara.

    ~How to Apply Lipstick

    1. Apply Vaseline, then use a soft toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, brushing gently in small circles.

    2. Apply your foundation as you normally would, making sure you lightly cover you lips too.

    3. Apply lip liner that matches either your lips or your lipstick exactly. To apply it straight, rest your little finger on your chin and press the flattest side of the liner point on the middle of your upper lip. Draw to the corner, sticking it just inside the natural line of your lips. Once completed, line the rest of the lips with the pencil.

    4. Apply your lipstick with a lip brush, blending again from the middle down to teh corners of the mouth. If you're using a very bright color, make sure you go right into the corners.

    5. Blot with tissue. Now reapply another coat of lipstick. Blot again. Add lip sealant or gloss if desired.Eye make-up tips for brown eyes going to a dance?
it all depends. if its formal or casual. i have dark brown eyes and we can wear about any color! YAY! but if its casual try going with earth tones like browns tans and bronzeish. if its formal or semi-formal or if you feel like it take the main color your wearing ( or the color of your dress) and find an eyeshadow that gets as close to the color your wearing. so take a white eyeshadow and put it on your eye right beneath your brow. this highlights your eyes. then on the lid brush the main color that your using and brush it all over your lower lid stopping at the crease. then blend. or if you have a slightly darker color than the one on your lid after add the darker color onto the outside corner of the crease of your eye and take that about half way in the crease. make sure the the outside is the darkest. hope this helped. have fun at your dance.
I'm assuming you have dark hair and not pale-ish skin- You can always go to like Sephora or MAC and have them do your make-up for you. I would probably use MAC mascara- I use plush Lash Black- but yeah no matter what you do stay dark, especially if you want that like smokey/sexy look :)

I'd recommend dark grayish eye shadow, the blackest eye-liner you can find, and the black mascara to match. Another good mascara is the Neutrogena Healthy one- idk what it's called exactly you could find it in a drug store it's in like a plastic long silver tube.

    good luck! :)
I would do a little bit of the royal blue eyeliner on your lower lid, this really helps to make your eyes pop! (especially if you're wearing blue)

then add a bit of eyeshadow to your top lid, (try to do the color of your dress or top, but don't do a lot, just do a light amount)

then do your mascara, just do a little on the top and bottom, keep it looking natural.

then i would just do dabs of foundation, so that you can just cover the blemishes!

    Best of luck!

    I hope i helped!
definitely go with a really nice sparkly green colour. emerald or a darker green would look really nice on you, also shows some of the festive spirit! use it more towards the outer corners of your eyes and then add a lighter bronze or golden shade in the inner corners or your eyes and blend them so there's a nice trasition between the two. then i'd go with a nice highlight underneath your brow and the tear ducts. can't go wrong with some nice black eyeliner and a sweep of black mascara to finish it off! hope i helped :)
A subtle gold shadow with a dark brown or black liner on the top lid. Extend the line outwards for a ';cat-eye'; look. That's always cute!

Or, you can try some glittery brown-gold eyeliner from Urban Decay, which was featured in this month's Seventeen.

Another cute, quirky look would be to line your eyes in bright teal, top and bottom lid. That will make your brown (and slightly green) eyes pop!
You have the same eyes as me. I use deep purples with black eyeliner and smudge in for a smokey look, presto for

smouldery sexy eyes! Colours can also depend on what colour your dress would be. Forget blues with browny greeny eyes. XXX
Having hazel eyes myself my advice is to choose either purple or green eyeliner/eyeshadow and brownish black mascara.
Hope your eyes enjoy the dance. lol!
    green eyeshadows or grey

How to do eye make up for a fair skin?

i have red hair, blue eyes, fair skin and freckles and i have no idea how i should do my make up. I use a brown eye liner but i feel like it makes my eyes look small, and then i have no idea how to make my eyes pop, and what mascara and eye shadow do i use?How to do eye make up for a fair skin?
We have the exact same features!

Here is what I usually do:

Make sure you have a blank canvas to start with. This can be achieved by a cream to powder formula such as Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous. Apply this foundation with a foundation brush for the most natural, blended look. After, take a smaller brush to go over any imperfections such as pimples, undereyes, eyelids, etc.

Then apply a bronzer (BareMinerals Warmth) to the apples of your cheek, extending towards your hairline.

Then sweep your face with an all over face powder with a large brush to blend in all areas and set the makeup. Try Covergirl Powder Compact.

My favorite drugstore eyeshadows are definitely Maybelline.

Try the trio in Bronze Glitz I think it is called? My favorite. It has a light cream shimmer, a golden bronze shimmer, and a rust shimmer. The good things about the little applicators is they deliver a really nice color.

Put the light cream on the inside corner of your eye to about the middle of the lid. On the outside of the lid, shade with the golden bronze to the middle inside of the lid and a little along the bottom lashline, on the outside corner of the eye and up along the bottom edge of the brow bone, forming a V-Shape. Finally, swipe the cream along the top of the brow bone and under the eyebrow, and also put a dab at the inner corner of your eye.

If you want to add eyeliner, it would look really cute winged out along the top to make your eye appear larger. Or, take a deeper shade of bronze, like the rust color, and sweep it along your lashline with a wet eyeliner brush.

And thick black mascara is a must! MAC Plushlash is my favorite and it is only $11 and is the best mascara I have ever used.

Hope this helps! How to do eye make up for a fair skin?
Eyes: Apply an ivory shadow all over lid. (lightest color in quad in the link) Then apply a copper shadow in the outside of your crease and the outside corner of your lid. (third darkest color, you can even go a little darker with the copper) To make eyes pop, apply white liner to your waterline. Use dark green, gray or navy blue eyeliner on the lash line. Start from the outer corners and go half way in, no farther than that. With your mascara brush, brush upper lashes upward and lower lashes downward. I like to use Diorshow, Lancome Definicils, or Covergirl exact eyelights mascara. (eyeshadow link http://www.lancome-usa.com/makeup/eyesha鈥?/a>

Cheeks- Use a highlighter like this (http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a> in glow) on cheek bones and bridge of nose. Then use powder bronzer and put on over cheeks, a little on forehead, and on the bridge of your nose. This will give you a sunny glow. If you want, you can also use on top of this a little shimmery peach blush.

Lips- Use whatever you want.....but don't go too dark! a light pink would look best!
use some light champagne eye shadow with some liquid liner, mascara, and eye liner this is what you need

What are some good ways to put on eye make up if u wear glasses?

i wear glasses and only put on eyeliner but i really like eye shadow but i think that u can barely see it. what are some tips for putting on eyeshadow so its noticeable but it looks nice and not too much. What are some good ways to put on eye make up if u wear glasses?
well the best thing to do is make sure that the color of the eyeshadow matches the frame of your glasses. that way, it will make everything look natural, but very beautiful (no i'm not saying that if you have black rims, that you should wear blake makeup) but more like something that compliments it, like a blue or purple or even a green. and go to www.covergirl.com they have some techniques to putting on eyeshadow and making it stand out. or next time you are at the grocery store, look through some magazines and find some makeup tips (they always have them)

or you could google it too.

(eyeshadow techniques) %26lt;- google thatWhat are some good ways to put on eye make up if u wear glasses?
When I wear makeup with glasses this is what I do--

Eyeliner -- Try just lining the top, but when lining the bottom of your eyes, don't connect it all the way to the inner corner of your eye, just connect it 2/3 of the way there.

Mascara -- If you have long lashes, don't put too many coats of mascara on (only 1 or 2 will do). I find sometimes that when I blink, it sometimes leaves lines on my glasses so try to buy mascara that dries fast. Avoid clumps as much as possible since they are easily seen for us.

Eyeshadow -- You can handle darker colors if you have big eyes, but if you have small eyes, try to keep it to a minimal.

    Hope that helps!
use a base for eyeshadow. curl you eyelashes, then mascara. also use darker colors and more bold for it to be seen.

    Black!

I wear black iquid eyeliner, not to much though!!

    and it looks lovelyyyyyy x
I have the same features, and as it's one of the most common mixes of hair %26amp; eye colour, pretty much anything suits it. I tend to wear black, but that's my gothic side. Wearing blue eyeshadow though will make your eyes look less blue. Grey or silver will bring out the blue.

Matching your outfit can't really go wrong, as most people won't notice if it suits your eye colour or not!
I have blue eyes and brown hair, and most of the time I just try to match the colour of my eye shadow with my outfit, but it doesn't really matter! My favourite colour to wear is light pink.
    Hey,

I have brown eyes and grey blue eyes as well, ive found that the best color is brown, but a grey eye looks just as good, an easier way then basing it on your outfit is to make categories based on your closes colors

Cool colors (Blue, green, purple, etc)- do a grey or a black eye, dont go to harsh on the balck but with the grey you can create a smokey look that is amazing. For the black just line the lashline o ntop with a liquid liner or a soft pencil.

Warm colors (Red, orange, yellow, pinks) brown! chestnut, espresso, keep it brown with the warm colors, your eyes will pop and not look to harsh if done correctly, remeber keep it subtle, makeup is often applied cakey and looks awfful. so keep it subtle

for pale colors that may look harsh with alot of makeup wear a white gold or plae pink shadow with blakc mascara for a subtle not to harsh look

goodluck thanks! email if you have any questions

I have blue eyes and brown hair and I've found that gold eye-shadows really emphasise the blue in my eyes. Also, gold goes with all outfits, and in lighter shades, really brings out the blue whilst not standing out so much. Darker golds are better for a more going out look. Good luck!
Ok i think i can help, i'll put them into bullet points or steps so its easier to follow.

    1. Foundation (optional) - the one closest to your own skin tone.

    2. Face Powder (optional) - the one same shade as your skin tone or a shade darker or lighter.

    3. Eyeshadow - browns, greens, white, greys, purples, light pinks, aqua blue/greens.

    4. Eyeliner - brown i think looks so nice for blue eyed people miley cyrus wears it and it helps to widen and open the eyes. I think any eyeliner will look nice as long as it is not too strong, caked on, thick lines etc.

    5. Blush/Bronzer - take a shade of any colour that looks nice on YOUR skin and remember to put it on lightly by blowing off some of the powder so not to expect a circ;e dollop of colour on your cheek, apply it on the apple of your cheek (top part).

    6. Lipstick/Lipgloss - apply a nice colour that doesn't clash with your make-up, skin tone eyes etc. blot if you apply lipstick.
Look at all those fantastic tutorials on youtube... a lot of girls are putting tutorials there for you to learn how to apply makeup (see in the category Howto %26amp; style) or you can search my 2 favourite ladies : julieg713 (Julie) and panacea81 (Lauren). Follow their tutorials and you will look fab !

    Good luck !

silver would look nice depending on your outfit

Is there any crazy eye make up for pale skin?

I realize I cant really do anything crazy because its looks too dark on my skin. My eyes are brown, and I need colors that you can see please =] Is there any crazy eye make up for pale skin?
i think that purple looks really great on pale skin. if you have warmed toned skin then use more eggplant or raisin like colors. if you're cool tones then use more violet colors. Is there any crazy eye make up for pale skin?
you might be using makeup without good adhesion or pigmentation. http://cuberry.com has some really cute bright colors. Even the light colors have really good pigmentation, like pink bikini. I recommend aquafurious, secrets, and going green. It depends on what your tastes are. They will work with your skin though because they are sooo pigmented. Just like mac.

MAC has some really cute purple eyeshadows if you like that. http://maccosmetics.com
You just need make-up that is heavily pigmented so the color in the bottle will be the color on your skin.

These bright eyeshadows from Make Up For Ever are meant to be crazy, and I think you'll love them if you're looking for something bright and flashy:

Flash Color by Make Up For Ever (17$ at Sephora):

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>
with pale skin you have lots of options! Its all in how you wear it. I have very fair skin as well. If you are afraid of it looking too dark, try just lining your eyes with colorful liners. Maybe a bright purple liner or even a light blue. Simple liner will stand out but not look too heavy.
How about some really feminine colours. Pink, lavender, purple, peach, plum, cornflower(a bluey purple), gold(even though that isn't super feminine). How about you put pink on first, then lavenderr on next. Then If you wanted, you could put on purple eyeliner and top with some black mascara.
dont do anything bright cuz it will wash out ur skin color and make ulook like a clown. u a smoky eye and use more greys than blacks. it will make u look really sophisticated with ur pale skin
try some light browns or light greens, that would go great with light skin

Is it harmful to not take your eye make up off?

I know you are supposed to take off your face powder but is it harmful to leave mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow on your eyes? because my friends and i often forget or just dont do it and its gone in the morning but this morning one of my friends eyes felt like they were glued shut she said..does anyone have fact that this is harmful? Is it harmful to not take your eye make up off?
I dont think it is really harmful. but i suppose you should take it off every night. or else later your eyes would not look pretty as it do before. Is it harmful to not take your eye make up off?
it probably just gets in your eyes

once or twice wont kill you, i sometimes forget to remove eyeliner
Eye makeup makes life so much easier and prettier. But if not used and removed properly, it can also be your eyes` worst enemy. Although eye makeup is bacteria-free when you buy it, it is very prone to infection by bacteria from the moment you open the package and expose it to air and germs. Because it鈥檚 applied to one of the body鈥檚 most sensitive areas, those germs can easily cause a big problems 鈥?like severe infections, pink eye or ulcers - for users who are not cautious.
It could cause aging to your eye-area, and possibly infection.

It's good to wash it off every night, as well as the rest of your face.
The skin around your eyes, including your lids, is some of the most sensitive on your body. It can become easily irritated. Additionally, there are pores on your eyelids, just like in your face. These pores can become clogged leading to styes and other eyelid conditions. If you wear contact lenses, you are leaving a prime source of dirt/bacteria near your lenses which can lead to eye problems. Nightly lid cleansing is super important to overall eye health. Use an oil-free eye makeup remover or a cleaner designed for eyelids (like Ocusoft).
As $omeone said, once or twice wouldn't be a problem, but generally speaking you should clean all your make-up off every night before you go to bed. Let your skin breathe a little without all the warpaint on.
It hurts alot if you leave eyeliner on. That's all i use for make-up and it hurts very bad in the morning if you sleep with it on. It usually becomes crusty on where it was and can like glue your eyelid's together. It can also infect your eyes (harmful enough?) Just take it off every night and you'll be fine :)
well my mom said that if u dont wash off yer mascara, ur eyelashes could come off

    X__x

sooo i just wash it all off every night

its probably okay tho if u are just wearing eyeliner, and dont wash it off

but i would defidently wash it all off if ur wearing mascara
The eye lids and the rest of the eye lids are very delicate. It has to be treated with extra care not to damage the eye area. It is important to cleanse off eye makeup so the eyes do not get irritated which can lead to an eye infection. Cleansing the eyes area should be part your daily skin ritual.
It can be irritating to your eyes to not remove your eye makeup. If there are particles of make up or mascara that get lodged in your closed eyes overnight, it can be irritating and you could get irritation of your eyes or conjuctiva. The left over makeup can also clog your pores, making you more prone to breakouts and acne. Don't panic if it happens once in a while, but you should make it a regular habit to wash your makeup off in the evening.

What are good eye make-up that will bring out my very dark brown eyes?

And make-up tricks? What are good eye make-up that will bring out my very dark brown eyes?
Try plums or light or darker purples. Nothing bright. These colors should help make your eye color pop.

I would wear them the way that you usually wear your eye colors now. The different shades and tone will bring out your eyes. What are good eye make-up that will bring out my very dark brown eyes?
ok you need pink blue shades eather go with really dark or really light to bring the poping out ok.
I also have very dark brown eyes. To bring them out a little, I use a dk blue or violet eyeliner. I also use copper, light brown eyeshadow to brighten up a little.
use a black or brown or green or burnt red (depending on the undertone of ur eye's iris) and draw along the edge of the eyelid where the eyelid stops for the lashes and above and directly benath the bottom lashes, then take a lighter toned shadow like a light brown, tan or earth tone and go along the top and under the brow bone (that crevice-y thing)

I recommend MAC eye liners and Stila's Urban Decay Shadow, with colors like Baked, Chopper or Smogh and Bobbi Brown's Raisin
Your eye makeup should match your skin tone rather than your eye color. Without knowing whether you're very pale, olive complected, or WHAT, it's hard to make a good color suggestion.

I CAN tell you that you should never wear blue or green eye shadow. They just look horrible on everyone.

Try www.cosmeticscop.com for eye color design tips, how to apply makeup, and what colors are good for what skin tones.

    Good luck and have fun!
black eye-liner and brown eye shadow, with a hint of pink.

i know, it sounds like im telling you to put on ';goth'; make-up.

    buts its not. lol
Try purples, teals, and golds. They will really make your eyes pop! To make your eyes look wider, only apply eyeliner on the outside corners of your eyes.
golds, browns, earthtones of green and other such colors, nothing really bright or tacky
deep colors - purples, greens, blues and especially blacks. Wear a black eyeliner with a gold hint under your lids. Wear black mascara (lancome) and don't be shy with the application.
I have very dark brown eyes also

    I use

a black shimmer shadow on the bottom and blend in like a lavender on the top and I use a navy blue eye liner as well as black mascara. The key to this look is to get a good eye brush.

I wore this eye makeup the day of my wedding it lookied really nice and I continue to wear it
The cool thing about brown eyes is that you can wear any color and it'll look great. I'd go with violets, light shades of brown and beige.
I have dark brown eyes also. Plums look the best on brown eyes hands down. Earth tones and nudes also look good.

Tip: Creating a smoky eye with a dark plum is a great evening look!

Tip: I would also try a dark purple or plum mascara. :)

What is the best way to remove eye make-up?

I use ';lid-care';...it works great and it's gentle on my skinWhat is the best way to remove eye make-up?
VASELINE WORKS WONDERSWhat is the best way to remove eye make-up?
baby oil on a cotton ball
I uses a cotton ball and then dab it in some rubbing alchohol. Then, gently rub it on your eye. It works Great!
USING EYE MAKE UP REMOVER, YOU CAN GET IT ANY WHERE. A LOT OF CO. MAKE IT.
I use baby oil it gets the mascara eye shadow and everything around the eye.. don't use it on the face itll make the face more oiler and block pores and acne. otherwise you can buy neutrogena eye makeup remover in the facial aisle its kinda spendy but baby oil is a lot cheaper!
    by washing ur face
vasiline it works great try it....my best friend is a makeup artist for models and thats what he uses....
    use eye make up remover
Almay's eye make up remover pads are the Best!!! I prefer the non-oily kind. My mom has me sold on every Mary Kay product possible except I won't budge on this one, the Almay pads are awesome!

    http://www.almay.com/Pg/Main/CatProdDet.鈥?/a>
i like cetaphil gentle skin cleanser it works with or without water, it isnt oily, and doesnt sting your eyes
I would suggest going to clinique. They have an eye makeup remover that is great. I have combo skin and have never broken out from thier products. If you are looking for something genteler for your skin... try origins. My sister's son is allergic to a lot of stuff she uses (when she holds him with makeup or lotion on he breaks out) origins is safe for him and is gentle.

clinique can be found at macy's, dilliards or any fine department store... I have seen origins in macy's only.

Clinique will help you develope a skin care regimin but you have to spend a certain ammount of money.

Origins won't charge, but it would be nice if you buy something.
lancome has the best makeup remover, it is an oil base so it removes EVERYTHING I love it and swear by it.
dove soap and water... then cream ur face and wipe the excess cream. it works great for me.
Petroleum Jelly dont matter what brand.....
    Wash your face with soap.
Don't waste your money on products bottled as ';eye make up remover';. Plain old baby oil on a cotton ball works great!
Shu Uemura's Make-Up Remover Oil is really good.
use eye make-up removers. they're especially formulated so they wont damage ur eyes. use them with cotton.
put some lotion on close your eyes and rube all over, then fill the sink with hot water and clean with (pro active) and then clear of with a towl
6 Words: Liquid Filled Eye Makeup Remover Swabs

These are by Bare Minerals and they are 24 for $5, yes they are pricey but they work.
I think Johnson %26amp; Johnson Baby lotion is the kindest way to remove make up and restore that baby soft skin to your face.
Baby oil on a wash cloth and rub.Eye make-up remover is expensive.
by using eye make up remover or any soft lotion. mary kay eye make up remover is great.
of course soap and water, but also MaryKays eye makeup remover works great!!
They MAke Eye Liner wipes and they are at Wal Mart, they work,my sis uses them
I use Maybeline eye makeup remover, but MAC makes these get wipes that removes EVERYTHING!!!!! They are just a lil pricey.....I have tried other wipes none work as well as MAC!!!!! Cut them in half they will last longer!!!!
You can buy eye makeup remover and that works really well.
    theres a eye makeup remover
I always use Johnson's baby wash to remove my eye makeup. I figure if it's gentle enough for a newborns skin, it should be safe for the area around my eyes. It works really well without any burning and it doesn't leave a greasy feeling like some eye makeup removers. Try it!
Ponds deep cleanser and makeup remover. It's a top ranking product. See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/top3.php

What do you think is the best brand for eye make up? and face make up?

Recommendations on powder vs. liquid foundation, liquid eye liner vs. pencil. And what brands do you think is best?

Thanks! What do you think is the best brand for eye make up? and face make up?
well first of all-MAC is very popular but is hated among ppl for making them break out-so beware

use powder foundation if you have a oily skin but i recommend mineral makeup-so much

    liquid foundation for drier skins

best brands for me are Estee Lauder Double Wear,Double Matte and my fav.mineral makeup is Loreal Bare Naturale foundationWhat do you think is the best brand for eye make up? and face make up?
for light-medium coverage go with a powder foundation and it is a lot less harmless for your skin. I would recommend Bare Essentials.

Liquid foundation is for a full coverage. I use Make Up Forever's HD foundation works wonders but it is a bit pricey.

Liquid liner is probably the best and it's easy to apply. Pencil liner is good if you want to apply an eyeliner on the bottom of you eye. Lancome has a really nice liquid liner but if you want something cheaper then I would use Revlon's colorstay collection.
I also prefer MAC, especially for eye makeup. If you have oily skin, use powder foundation. If you have normal/dry skin, use liquid foundation. I use pencil eyeliner because it's usually easier to apply without messing up or smudging.
face makeup- REVLON COLORSTAY LIQUID FOUNDATION.

its cheap and its amazingg- at CVS its 13.25 :)
the best brand is the oldest thats been out.

    For example

    MAC

Whats an alternative to use as Eye make up base?

like say some eye cream which for the dark circles, and also adherent enough to hold eye make up. Whats an alternative to use as Eye make up base?
i use the light shades of the barry m crayons as a base!

my eye make up doesn't move at all, all day!

i think it has like a wax or something in it.

they do glitter ones as well, so you can add sparkle to plain eye shadows .

    hope this helped

xWhats an alternative to use as Eye make up base?
You can use an eyeliner pencil, gel eyeliner (MAC's Fluidline or L'oreal HIP cream truth liner), MAC shade stick, MAC paint pot, a thin layer of foundation, those thick eye pencils that look like giant pencil eyeliners.

But if you want a good eyeshadow base get the Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's worth the $16 (USD) I'm sure it's available in the UK as well.
vaseline works wonders if your eye shadow needs a boost, dab onto your eyes with your ring finger (it has the lightest touch) I've heard that chap stick does the same job...
Liquid foundation, i always put it on my eyes for a base and it helps the shadow stick. Also helps lippy last longer too!!
    Concealer.
    use a creamy conceler
bobbi brown cream eyeshadows work great =]

How to put eye make up?

I am one of those with 'difficult' asian eyes. I have a hidden eyelid which means that even my lashes are on the inner lid. Therefore, my eyes are pretty hard to put eyeshadow on. Any tips? How to put eye make up?
I'm not Asian, but I think that one way to do the eyeshadow would be to cover your eyelid - even if it is 'difficult', when you blink, it shows, and then take it and make kind of an upward swirl with the eyeshadow. Connect the swirl with the bottom lash area, and only extend the eyeshadow to about half of the bottom part of your eye. It's kind of hard to explain, but that's what I'd recommend. :)How to put eye make up?
I would say use tape on the lid, to make it double, also going on Youtbe would help loads than just reading directions

go on youtube, there are asians, black, whites, all with how to vids, from what u mentioned, to proper coloring

What type of eye make up would look best on me?

I have blond hair and blue eyes .What type of eye make up would look best on me?
I too have blonde hair and blue eyes. I find that gold eyeshadow colors look good as they bring out the gold undertones in my hair. People always say that blue looks good on my eyes because it accentuates my blue eyes, same way a deep blue shirt might make your eyes look deeper. Also, neutral colors, taupe, tan, and brown, generally look good on blue eyes. Pinks also look well. Colors with warm undertones tend to compliment your skin tone. check out this E-How on picking makeup for blue eyes:

    http://www.ehow.com/how_2049196_makeup-b鈥?/a>

so yeah. Blues, Browns, Pinks, golds.

For eyeliner, go with a nice deep brown.

For blush, just don't go too intense. Any shade lightly applied will look good.

For lips, pinks and peaches would look good. Don't go too dark, as it might look to severe on your light hair and skin.

Hope that helped! What type of eye make up would look best on me?
It depends on what type of look you are going for.

Brows go best with blue eyes.

I use i use cream colored eyeshadow, brow mascara, and a thin brow pencil line on my top lash line.

With eye makeup, just depending on your eye color, the shape, and what you hope to achieve in your look depends on the makeup you should use.

here is a website that may be helpful.

    Green eyeshadow.

    Also neutral brown eye color.

    peachy/pink lipgloss.

maybe peachy blush would look good :D

try not to use black eyeliner, unless it's somewhere fancy. use a deep brown instead.

    hope i helped :)

Blue eyes really look great with browns and golds-they are opposite blue on the color spectrum so it really makes your eyes ';pop';. Another cool look is to do blue---navy would look great! I have lots of beauty tips on my site : http://headtotoeperfect.blogspot.com/
    light brown shadow,

    brown/black eyeliner.

    black mascara.

i think that would be pretty. don't think that because famous blondes like that with black eyeliner look that good, they're edited to look like that, it looks.. not so good., and makes you look paler then you are.
brown eyeliner on the top and bottom lashline to bring out the blue in your eyes.

a brown mascara also, since you have blonde hair (black would be too intense)

and a shimmery champagne color on your lid

    a natural look.
    eyeshadow:

    ~blue

    ~pink

    ~brown

    blush:

    ~pink, peachy
i think a grey smokey eye or brown shimmery eyeshadow or even pink shimmery eyeshdaow would look good :]
brown eyeliner, brown mascara, and gold/brown eyeshadow
    typical blonde.

  • What cosmetics/skin care brand has the best eye make-up remover?

So far, the one I liked best is Neutrogena's and right now I am so not liking L'Oreal's eye make-up remover. If any of you have had good experiences with other brands, please let me know. I use black eye pencil and mascara a lot and they never come off properly. What cosmetics/skin care brand has the best eye make-up remover?
Mary Kay eye make up remover.. Its Number 1 and amazing. Oil-free Safe for Contacts if you wear them... It won't burn your eyes and its great. If thats not an option, I also SUggest Rimmel. It works great. What cosmetics/skin care brand has the best eye make-up remover?
you have to try precision by chanel it's about 30$ a bottle but it last long, I love it mascara and eye liner come's right off
    MaryKay.

i don't think they sell it in stores, you'd have to find a local consultant.

    x
wow i was actually going to suggest L'Oreal because i really like their eye makeup remover, but now i'm using neutrogena and it seems to work really well!
Lancome I think had a great gel-like eye-makeup remover and quit making it. That was the best one and nothing has ever come close.

I have tried MK, and it is not bad, but I don't think it dissolves waterproof mascara that well. JMO though, I know others that are very happy with it.

My eyes have gotten very sensitive, I used to purchase the wipes that Walmart sells to remove mascara, and thought they were fantastic, but my eyes get red when I use it now, so I am in the same boat. Don't know what to buy now.........
Lately I've been reading biographies on prima ballerinas and they have to wear a lot of stage make up when they have a performance. Seems to me that they generally use things like baby oil and Ponds skin cream (the old style stuff that comes in the jar) to remove their make up--it is easy to find, not too expensive, removes the liner, mascara, pancake makeup fast and thoroughly and is then easily washed off.
i use Vaseline. literally, the Vaseline petroleum jelly that comes in that little jar with the blue cap... the one that mommy use to rub on your lips to prevent them from cracking.

it takes my make-up all off. you take a dallop and put it on all over your face or just the area of the make-up you wanna take off. considering that you're taking off your make-up then washing your face, the vaseline will obviously feel greasy when you first put it on but when you finish washing your face the vaseline comes right off.

the vaseline can also serve as an alternative to your night moisturizer and since it is petroleum jelly it's pure so it doesn't irritate skin, it doesn't contain fragrances or dyes and it doesn't clog pores. when you get up in the morning, wash your face and proceed with your regular day regimen.

it's definitely a less ';chemical';-ized way of keeping your skin moisturized at nighttime... and at under $3.00 a jar, you can't go wrong!
Cetaphil liquid cleanser = best all over makeup remover (safe for eyes, fragrance-free, oil-free)

Clinique Rinse Off Makeup Solvent = best dept. store eye makeup remover
    lol ???????
    Yves Rocher is the best.
Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover, it takes everything off even stubborn waterproof mascara.
I find that the best eye makeup remover is Johnson's baby oil. It takes EVERYTHING off very gently. It's also the cheapest. In my opinion, no other department store product removes as well no matter how expensive.
Mary Kay's Eye Makeup Remover, it is oil free and washes the makeup off very easily...
    evian, nivea
*goes in bathroom to see what the brand is*

Ahh, yes! Use PONDS Cold Cream!
I really like Maybelline Oil Free, it does a great job, doesn't leave an oil slick on your face, and it isn't pricey. I know what you mean about the L'Oreal ... it doesn't take the eye make up off!!
Baby Oil...it works like a charm. I just put some on a cotton ball and wipe it off. Try it and see!

How do you stop grey eye make up from smudging?

every time i put grey eye shadow on my upper lip after like an hour it smudges onto my lower lid making it look like i have really bad bags under my eyes! (and no i dont touch or rub my eyes)

anyone know how i can stop it from smudging? How do you stop grey eye make up from smudging?
theres a base you can buy that you put on under your eyeshadow. it works! go to a make up store and ask about it.How do you stop grey eye make up from smudging?
You need an eyeshadow primer. Urban Decay makes a good one. Or switch to a cream eyeshadow.

How should I do my eye make up?

My eyes are dark, my eyelashes are pretty short and you can't see them much unless you look at them up close - even when wearing make up. One eye has my skin overlapping so that you can't see my eyelashes at all! Its very unfair and annoying.

You also can't see my eyelids. My eyes look too dark with eyeliner.

    Any advice?

Thanks. How should I do my eye make up?
I kinda have this problem, too. My eyelashes are no more than stubs, and one eye has some skin that overlaps, and makes it look smaller than the other. It makes me pretty self conscious. What I do is use fake eyelashes. They work wonders for me and really open up my eyes. I also wear a darker shade of eye shadow. This way you can't even tell that they're not the same size. And sometimes, since my eyes are so small, and slightly..off, I sometimes don't even wear liner on the bottom. Just mascara on the bottom, and it looks fresh and your eyes look open.

Hope this helps, doll. How should I do my eye make up?
I can't wear eye makeup having had radiotherapy to one of my eyes and it therefore being very sensitive but I found a solution! Have you considered individual artificial eyelashes for special occasions? I had never heard of them! but one of my friends looked particularly nice one day and she told me about them. Rather than false eyelashes which go on in a strip and look fake, individual lashes are glued to your own. It looks natural but really 'opens' your eyes. I currently just have a few long ones in the outer corners of my eyes and they look great. They last for two or three weeks and aren't expensive to have done.
instead of black or brown eyeliner why dont you try colour eyeliner with matchin coloured mascara??

or if yu are really daringtry green eyeliner with pink mascara!!

    such a cool effect...

    :D
put a brown or blue mascara and eyeliner

and also put a pink lip gloss

    you will be so beautiful

It depends! What color do you you want to stand out more? The blue, green, or brown? If you want the brown to stand out...

    - copper, bronze, brown, beige, royal blue, tangerine.

    Blue!

    - gray, violet, deep blue, purple, silver, turquoise.

    Green!

    - brown, purple, plum, forest green, gold, light green.

Smokey eyes also look good with just about any eye color too. Also, try putting a little bit of silver eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eye. (: It makes your eyes look larger, and more youthful. haha. :p

I have green eyes myself, and I love using a shimmery copper color everyday. It's looks GORGEOUS. :D

So good luck finding the right shade for you.My eyes are every color at once what eye make up should i wear to make them stand out?
Well it depends on which color you want to stand out. Heres a list of colors on what makes what stand out. Then after you choose what you want to stand out, buy mascara, eyeliner, and/or eyeshadow in that color :)

    brown=blue

yellow=idk if you want the yellow to stand out, but thats also blue since its kind of like a light shade of brown (but brown and yellow eyes TOGETHER are nice so the blue will make both pop)

    green=purple

    blue=brown

grey=also brown scince its similar to blue

all you really need to do is look at a color wheel and choose an opposite color that'll make it stand out.

to make everything stand out, draw attention to your eyes by using black mascara and eyeliner (but make sure its not smudged because it'll draw attention to your eyes in a bad way so make sure its waterproof if you have smudging problems)
With eyes that have that many colors, you can pick and choose which color you want to bring out each day. I doubt there's anything that will bring out every single color at once.

For both the brown and green in your eyes, dark purple eyeliner will look nice. For the blue and grey colors, navy blue eyeliner and mascara will look nice. For the yellow in your eyes, gold or black eyeliner should look nice. :)
All of those eyecolors are good with earthy tones. AVON has a product called 8 in 1 Nuetral Colors pallet and it is at a VERY low price. The link is below if you would like to order.
if there every colour in one it probably already stands out :|

but maybelline turbo booster is a good mascara and any black eye liner will do.

dont ever do the eyeliner though makes ur eyes look small
i think maybe purple would look good

    answer mine?

i think every color at once is considered hazel and i would just be creative, i kind of like the idea of purple eyeshadow

How to do the smokey eye- make up? What colours, and what do I use?

    1. Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called ';primer';)

2.Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye.

    3. Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to ';smudge it.'; You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.

    4. Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone.

5.Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.

6.use a q-tip to blend color. How to do the smokey eye- make up? What colours, and what do I use?
get black, grey, and white at the browline put grey and as you get lower make it darkerHow to do the smokey eye- make up? What colours, and what do I use?
You need a small makeup brush... not the little ones made out of foam, a brush that looks like a mini brush you use for applying blush.

Here are some colours that will look good for smokey eyes:

Dark purple and grey (not black)

    Grey and black

    Black and silver.

First put the darkest colour on the inside of you eye ( the past clostest to your nose if you know what i mean ) Make it dark on your inner eyes and with the brush smudge it outwards to about the sentre of you eye. Use the lighter colour on your outer eye lid and you can slightly smudge it outwards.

Next apply eyeliner. Put it along the rim of your bottom eyelid and slightly inderneath your eyelashes but to too much. Smudge it under your eyelashes. Its best to do eyeliner last because if you close your eyes while applying eyeshadow the eyeliner can fade!

Lastly use some mascara on your top lashes - mascara on your bottom lashes doesnt suit smokey eyes.

A good lipgloss to use with this is clear to bring out your eyes or if you do black all over your lid you can try red lipstick or lipgloss. But bear in mind it can be hard to find the right shade of red to suit you sometimes

    Hope this helps

wow, i wish more people answered as good as u!!! Report Abuse

use alot of dark colors and make sure you make it seem portionate MAC is the best brand u can use
Start with a good base, I just use my foundation but Urban Decay do a good eyeshadow primer.

I then use a Pouts butterfly cream shadow all over my eye.

Take a damp cotton bud - (I like cotton buds better than brushes for smoky eyes cause it looks a little messier, more sexy, less try hard) and swizzle it in a dark eyeshadow, I love Trish Macavoys glitter black, but Bourjouis do a really similar one, go for charcoal or dark browns.

Use the cotton bud like you would an eye liner, draw a fairly thick line starting thickly from the outside tapered into just after halfway.

Then using a brush and a metallicy gold/silver/cream anything lighter, blend from the inner of your eye into the darker colour, use your finger to smudge it up a bit.

Then..... (I didn't intend this to be so long, I hope it helps though) with a very dark brown eyeliner draw a line on the underneath of your lower eye and smudge it, like you're trying to take it off with your fingers.

    Yup, think that's about it.

But the best way to create new looks, is experiment, play about with your make up see what works for you.

well u put some black or navy eyeliner on the top of your eyelid (above the eyel;ashes) like a thinish line, then u want to put a dark grey eyeshadow above it, and blend it, it'll make your eyes look smokey!!

    hope i've helped you x
use a grey kohl and smoothe it lightly, but dont put it under the eye!

  • IS there any way to remove waterproof mascera without eye make-up remover?

I hate the feeling of it because its so oily and gross. is there any other way?IS there any way to remove waterproof mascera without eye make-up remover?
lotion, any kind of lotion, works for me. it not only feels nice on your skin, but moisturizes it. be sure to get an oil-free facial lotion if you don't like oily products. i have this really cool product from neutrogena. it is a moisturizer, facial cleanser, and makeup remover all in one. i love it, and its foaming, not oily. maybe you could try that, too?

hope i helped!IS there any way to remove waterproof mascera without eye make-up remover?
The best way is definitely the eye makeup remover.

However, you could try baby oil on a tissue. That works.

The third option is Vaseline. Do your regular face washing routine before you take your mascara off. Then put some Vaseline on your eye lashes and rub it in. Finally, pull gently on your eye lashes with a soft tissue and the mascara will come off! Your eye lashes will be fine, as long as you're gentle.

    I hope I helped,

    ~Elaina (:
i just us johnsons make up remover x
I think the best way is to use the oily kind, if it wasn't eye makeup remover I would have said baby oil or olive oil. I like waterproof mascara as well and any other makeup remove seems to not work too well.
Do NOT use Vaseline or any oily product.

The molecules of these are too big to be absorbed by the eye and can eventually lead to Millia = those small white bumps under eyes.

Buy an eye make-up remover that does not have any oil. Nivea's Gentle eye make-up remover is really good and it dissolves make-up instantly.
you are essentially asking for the impossible, i think.

i understand why you want to use a waterproof mascara, why don't you try something else. on the market, there are some mascara using ';thermo-sensitve technology'; in mascara, it acts like waterproof, but easily taken off with warm water, the one i use the the Clinique one (lash intense or something)

try it out, it should solve your problem.

Oh, we Paki, Indian, Arab women are BIG on glam looks and dramatic eyemakeup. Our key secret: kajal aka kohl aka dramatic eyeliner. I prefer black liquid eyeliner myself as I have biiiig Audrey Hepburn doe-eyes. To make this work: a) you need to have perfect skin. As my skin is naturally quite light and flawless I dont have to do anything. For prob skin: first use foundation, powder, concealer etc..get it natural and even. b) do NOT go for dramatic lipstick or contoured cheekbones after u've done a dramatic eye look, c) use one shade of medium-deep eyeshadow in whatever color suits your skin, then use a lighter, sparkly highlighter underbrowbone, then just go all-out with the ehavy kajal/eyeliner. some women with smaller eyes tend to look liek raccoons when they line the insides of their eyes so you'll just have toe xperiment. Hope this helps.
Type in ';arabian eyes'; on youtube and you'll get tons of results!

  • What kind of eye make up could i use?

my eyes aren't that small or big every time i put on eyeliner i look goth and my eyes look very small. I have very Dark under eyes as well! i have enough sleep and they just wont go away! What kind of eye make up could i use?
Lol, what lame answers you got.

    Try this sweety.

*Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightner (Get rid of those dark under eyes)

*Too Faced Eyeshadow Duo... shade: Ooh and Aah (This black and silverish-white eyeshadow will be used to make your eyes pop.. You want to start with the silver shade as the base. Make a shape like half of an egg on its side, the thinner part of the egg starting at your inner eye. Then work in the black shade, making a half moon brushing motion fom the outside layer on your eyes and blend to perfection. Add a bit of the silver shade to underneath your eyes just in the inner corner and smear back lightly about halfway.)

*Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Mascara (Don't apply this across your entire bottom of your eyelid. You need to rub it gently across the outer corners of your eye to just about the middle, start from thick to thinner towards the middle. For the top of the eyelid, apply it thicker on the outside corner and thin it out as your glide it all the way to your inner corner of your top eyelid.)

This technique will make your eyes appear big and doe-eyed :)'

If this look works for you, then you owe me a dollar.

    Lol just kidding.

-MafiosaWhat kind of eye make up could i use?
Put foundation and concealer under your eyes and don't use eyeliner. You could use a shade of eyeshadow darker than what you were going to use. Like.... if you wanted to use a light blue on your eye, use a dark blue to line your upper lid and generally fade it in with the light blue. For under your eyes, you can either use the dark blue or you can use a lighter shade of eye liner. Like a dark grey or something and don't cover your whole bottom lid. just like the outer half.
You need a hi-lighter first put the light color first all over your upper lid put a bit extra at the arch of your eye-brown, then apply dark brown on top, leave the arch part remain light, then apply the pencil eyeliner and use q-tip smooth out eyeliner and upper lid color, for the dark under eyes, apply concealer on top of the foundation, I use Shiseido to remove my dark under eyes (work very well on me), I think Macy's carry this line of product, you can just go there after you buy their product ask them to give you demo how to apply make up to your face for free, good luck
they way you are explaining how your eyeliner looks, you might want to consider just ditching it. A good way to have more drastic looking eyes without eyeliner is to just use mascara. It might be a different look for you, but most guys appreciate less makeup on a girl anyways. Besides, I have always thought long eyelashes looked way more pretty than eyeliner.
okay well if you like putting eyeliner

on you should...umm if they wont go away you sould

frezze a potatoe and in the night cut in in circles and put

it in your eyes trust me it works..i've tried it..
put concealer on, not on it but under where your eyes meet your nose. and don't put on heavy eyeliner. try just a thin line on the top lashes. and mascara makes your eyes look awake.
    eyeliner and cover up

How can i apply my eye make up without it smudging?

i never do eye make up cause it always looks crap.

how can i do it looks hot?How can i apply my eye make up without it smudging?
ok try using a quadrant ie the makeup that comes with 4 pre matched colours. apply the lightest color first all the way from just above the eyelash to just beneath the row. choose the next colour which should be a little darker than the first and yoy will apply this over the first shade from the eyelash to the crease of your eyelids. the next colour which should be darker than the second could be applied to the outermost part of you eye and swept up to form a kind of cat like effect and the deepest colour should be applied in a thin line just above your eyelashes.

i usually apply only three but because it is sooo hot now. i dont wear any.

NB. when you apply the makeup, try to blend it in smoothly so that you do not actually see each individual color standing out.How can i apply my eye make up without it smudging?
all i can tell u is take ya time and watch how much you put on cause if u put too much make up on you will look like a fake dollbabay or a whore lol
Your best bet is to get good brushes, if you work with anything like horse hair (which is like the stuff that you get in walgreens or your local stores), it's not going to lay the makeup right, causing it to smudge and run all over your face.

Second, unfortunatley, is finding the right makeup for your skin type. It's a long process, but you will find it. You can even watch movies, take classes, or ask friends what they use.
    hey =]

these videos are perfect for you.

    hope it helps!
you didn't say what kinds of eyeshadow you use...main thing...make sure your eyelids are dry before putting on shadow..i personally love the cream eyeshadows...but if you don't put them on evenly...they can look smudged whether your eyelid is dry or not...it's kinda weird..i just tried the wet n wild brand...the one color...rust goes on well..yet the other colors don't go on evenly...so go figure...

use any good brand.use powder eyeliner but dip brush in water first, squeeze of excess then dab onto powder and gently apply, dont rub in.when removing it use egoderm cream and a makeup bud to remove.this cream is fantastic,it is especially for reactive skin, dont use it all around your eyes just to remove the eyeliner.I used to get red rimmed, itchy eyes from makeup.now i dont.If its not the skin that is reacting but your eyes go red and watery, then before you put makeup on put in some antihystamine eye drops.then when you remove the makeup put them in again.cheersI appear to be allergic to eye make up. Any hypoallergenic range should work.

There are lots on this google search page.

Are you actually allergic or did you just get some makeup in your eye? How old is the mascara you used (old mascara can cause irritation)?
    What brands have you tried?

I'd sugget going with mineral eyeshadow, personally, as it's gentler than the conventional stuff.
Try something that is marked hypoallergenic - but be careful.
any brand that says hypoallergenic on it check out your local chemist for brands that have that sign on them
Have you tried the Body Shop? you could ask the staff there for advice, or Boots try their make up counters. There must be something you could try ion one of those shops.
If you appear to be allergic to eye make up no brand would cure that or be okay for your eyes.
buy very cheap make-up or maxfactor
    try clinque.

  • What order is the best order for putting on eye make-up?

The best order = order that doesn't smear the rest of the eye make up

    - eye liner THEN eye shadow

    or

-eye shadow THEN eye liner ?

-mascara and eyelash curler THEN the shadow and line (whichever order)

    or

-shadow and liner THEN mascara and curler ?

thanks alot! What order is the best order for putting on eye make-up?
    Hi,

    Here's my opinion:

    Eyeshadow then eye liner,

Eyeshadow and liner then mascara and curler.

If you do it the other way around I find it smears and then you have to re do it and it just looks a mess.

    Hope this helps.

Natalie xWhat order is the best order for putting on eye make-up?
Eyeshadow, then liner, then curl, then mascara.

You want the liner to show, so putting the shadow on first means it won't cover over the liner.

Curl your lashes first, then apply mascara. I like to curl them again after the first coat, so that the curl sets and really holds.

    Ry.
    1. eyeliner

    2.eyeshadow

    3.mascara

    4. eyelash curler

    5. a little more liner.

    6. more mascara
    Eye liner,

    Eye shadow,

    last comes the mascara.
put a powder or eye shadow base, to keep the shadow to stay then shadow then eye liner then curl then mascara hope this helps
    eyeliner, eyeshadow, curler, then mascara.

Can you use vaseline as an eye make up primer?

and what's the best affordable under eye concealer and how do you determine the right shade? Can you use vaseline as an eye make up primer?
Vaseline would definitely help the pigments stick but I wouldn't recommend it for long-wear...if you have even the slightest bit of oil on your lids or if it gets that way during the day, it'll crease.

When you do use it, use it VERY sparingly...and make sure it blends out nicely. Using a liquid foundation or a concealer would work as a primer, too. Just use everything mentioned very sparingly.

As far as undereye concealer goes, find a shade that's a couple of tones lighter than your normal foundation shade and make sure it has a yellow tint to it. That will cancel out the blue undertone underneath your eyes. I really like Physician's Formula for concealers, they have sticks and wands that you can choose from to fit your need. (I recommend their Twin Concealers in fair and green, the green being used for the redness, if you have any of that.)

Best of luck! Can you use vaseline as an eye make up primer?
I've never heard using vaseline as a eye makeup primer.

I have heard of using vaseline as a make up remover, and a mixing medium.

A mixing medium is something you mix with pigments or loose shadows to create a paste of sorts. You can use this 'paste' as an eyeshadow or eyeliner.

Generally for concealers you choose one shade lighter than your foundation or skintone. If you need to conceal dark undereye circles choose a concealer that has more yellow undertones. If you need to conceal redness choose a green concealer.

There is a lot of concealers out there, right now I'm using Clinique's Undereye Corrector.
I use vaseline to remove eye makeup. I don't think it would make a good primer--whatever you put on it would just slide right off.

The right shade of concealer is supposed to be one shade lighter than your foundation/skintone. Some lines, like L'Oreal, have a wider range of shades, divided into cool, warm, and neutral--you just do a little questionnaire and find out which category is yours. You can go on just about cosmetic website and take an online questionnaire to determine your right shade.

Can't help you on the best affordable undereye concealer. I'm still looking for one myself. Right now I'm using Revlon's Age Defying cream stuff, because the skin under my eyes is dry. It's okay; better than anything else I've tried at the drugstore.
NEVER EVER USE VASELINE ON YOUR FACE ESPECIALLY THE EYES THEY ARE THE MOST SENSETIVE PART OF US.

There is a gorgeous eye make-up primer by URBAN DECAY it works really well 10000000 better than vaseline.

Maybelline has a very nice line of concealers, and the only way to know if it works is to try it on with the help of a make-up artist.
No. Vaseline can block your eyelids and you will find you will suffer from persistent itch eyes, brittle eyelashes that break and don't always grow back.

Either buy a good primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion which is the daddy of them all but a bit pricey.

Alternatively, use foundation on your eyelids.
I recently went o my dermatogist and i told him that i use vaseline on my face bcos' i see like dry spots, he said dnt ever use vaseline bcos' its like to thick of a paste to apply on your skin and give you white heads.
Vaseline will continue to move, and take your eyeshadow with it.

Try a creamy eyeshadow, or even your concealer, and you will get much better results.
    no i wouldnt use vaseline

you can use it on your eyes by itself to make them shiny but if you put makeup over it .. it will most likely melt away or smear everywhere

for the under eye concealer use powder thats like 3 shades lighter then your skin tone

try sephora or mac for concealers
